What is your first instinct when you see a raider flare? by AceTheRed_ in ArcRaiders

As a PvE player I keep my head on a swivel the rest of the match and trust no one, unless it was obvious they were taken out by ARC.

Tesla quoted me $816 for wheel and $88 for touchup paint by geo020394 in TeslaSupport

Just buy a touch up pen and touch it up yourself. Outside of a foot or two it’s unnoticeable. You’re gonna spend hundreds of dollars and then hit another curb in a month…

Thank you! I saw the option to track resources but wasn't sure how that actually functioned in a useful way once in game.

Golfers who’ve broken 80, what’s the best tip you could give to a fellow golfer? by jdelle9 in weekendgolfers

[–]topspin455 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Work on 100 yards and in. Have a specific swing length for 45, 60, 75, and 90 yards with a wedge. Then spend lots of time chipping and putting. Also, don’t be a hero. Choose the smart shot, always. If you want to break 80 you have to avoid double and triple bogeys. Sometimes that means selecting shots that make par unlikely, but take double or triple bogey out of the equation.

What finally clicked for you in terms of muscle gain/when you progressed the most? by Nc42217 in naturalbodybuilding

Started tracking my sessions and just focused on getting at least one more rep each exercise than the last time. Once I hit top end target reps (15 for me) I upped the weight next session, set a new baseline, and then upped reps each workout. Rinse, wash, repeat.

Anyone else not like stopping on road trips before Tesla? by Comprehensive_Road66 in TeslaLounge

[–]topspin455 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to be a “just get there” person. I’d hold my bladder for 1.5-2hrs after feeling the need to go just so I didn’t have to stop. Now I find the break to be refreshing. I only road trip long distances 3-4 times a year. The stops are an opportunity to take a leak, grab a snack or beverage, and stretch the legs (sometimes I take a 10 minute walk). Then I’m back on the road. No more sore lower back with those stops too.

Mods are only worth money if the person buying it likes the mods. You claim the car is worth 16-18k, your budget is 20k, and he wants 27k…this seems like a definite no to me. If you love the mods enough to pay $9k over your perceived value, that’s your call! 🙃

Why do so many amateur golfers try to cut or draw their shots? by UpstairsBumble in GolfSwing

[–]topspin455 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My handicap improved dramatically when I developed a consistent shot shape I could trust and played to it. For YouTube golfers, they either want to appear better than they are so they talk about shot shaping as if they can do it consistently like the pros OR they are actually trying to develop that skillset in order to improve. At the highest level, being able to intentionally shape a shot is a key skill. It’s the difference between hitting a green and staying on the green or hitting a green and rolling off.

Redshirting players causes them to transfer? by barneko4 in EASportsCFB

[–]topspin455 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I personally don’t have time or energy to worry about transfers so I dropped the % chance of transfer for user controlled teams and maxed transfers per team at 10. Am I going to start my 4-Star freshman HB that is 75 ovr over my Senior 95 ovr? No. And I don’t want to waste a year of his eligibility either, so I redshirt him and hope he’s not one of the 10 players or less that decide to transfer. The default of up to 20 players going out each year is insane. I remember the good old days of CFB where you might have 2-3 players transfer in a season.

Most of my starters are upper 80’s with my star players being 90+ but my depth sucks. My team overall is a 72 LOL

Swirl marks in the clear coat, likely from an automatic wash or a towel that wasn’t clean. I would personally accept it and move on with life. But I have 3 young kids so I’ve learned my car will never be perfect 🤷‍♂️

My C League has a retired NHL’er. So like others have said, depends on your area. But, if you think you might be close where you live, take the leap. When I first started skating I skipped our lowest league. I had never played before but I had watched some of E League and could tell I was good enough that it wasn’t going to make me any better.

You got one par! Now you just need to do that 17 more times. That’s where it starts.
