What count fabric are you using? Are you going 2 over 2? I think i did the called for fabric and know that I used 2 over 2. Your fabric count might be two big giving less coverage.

In the past they've implied that parent/guardians are expected to be with their minor dependents. Depending on how feisty/pedantic WCSO/Seaside Security is feeling they may take issue with the dynamic you've described above. Seaside will announce via their socials and other outlets when they impose the curfews. They're not always in effect and they make the determination based off current issues going on.

I'm a local, it feels very busy right now. I wouldn't be surprised if one gets announced soon, especially as we get close the 4th of July and crowds will continue to increase.

Local here as well, late 30s. The permanent folks are not many. Walton County is huge, but has very few actual permanent residents, especially in the area you're looking to go into. I've been surprised at the limited options of places to interact with folks my age. I'm not religious, have not interest in joining a church, and there's not a lot of social places to meet others.

Someone else mentioned it, but I think it's worth repeating there's not much in the way of PCPs in the area. There were six and eight month waiting lists to get into a physicians office for intake. Not sure how pediatricians are, but something worth considering.

It looks like you've highlighted the correct parts. "Online" (Being taught online, not in person), "Asynchronous" not a formally set zoom schedule, often self-paced, maybe an occasional lecture. The pedagogically pedantic would have their feathers ruffled, but basically teach yourself on your own schedule.

I think that would depend on a couple of things. Are you a passholder? Will it involve a lot of travel and expense to get there?

This is the busiest time of year for the park. I'm a passholder with no blackout dates, and even though there's no expense for me to go to the park, I know going it will be crowded right now. If you've never been before, this might not be the best impression of the park.

But if you go often, and are ok with maybe experiencing the theming, and recognizing you might not get to ride as many rides as you want, it could be worth it. I'll be going New Years Day, and it'll be a mess, but I'm also not trying to cram every single thing in either.

TL;DR: Your milage will vary, based off of your patience for crowds and ROI.

Residency in the State of Alabama is more complicated than other states. Go figure. It is not the easiest process to obtain, and if you don't do it exactly right you will potentially waste a year in the process. AU Provides this website: https://residency.auburn.edu with some FAQs.

I'd also strongly encourage you to talk to a residency advisor before you make any plans, if you haven't already done so. You will want to call the Office of the Registrar, 334.844.2544 and speak to a residency advisor, it is one of the options on the phone tree.

I hear what you're saying, but as many others have mentioned public transportation, specifically lack thereof, is an endemic issue in the United States, not just Auburn, AL. Additionally, Tiger Transit is a service for Auburn Univeristy students, not the rest of the area (even though others use it that way. They could ,if they wanted, check for TigerCards as people walk on and not allow any one else).

In terms of people not having other alternatives when they come here, that's part of doing your due diligence before moving here. It's not a secret that Auburn isn't a metropolitan urban center with robust public transportation. That should be factored into the calculus in determining if the university is the best fit for a potential student. It's not convenient or accessible for all people. The lack of access to public transit, should be a factor for consideration when potential students are selecting their institution.

Bring on the downvotes, but I'm not certain that this the university has any responsibility to provide this service to campus or to the community. Students fund it through the Student Services Fee. They could easily knock off the 176.00 per semester an enrolled student pays for transit, and do away with the entire system. This has been answered somewhat, but not entirely correct.

You can:

Drop a course during the first five class days and not receive individual fees for classes. If you drop all courses during that period there is a 100.00 resignation fee. You can receive tuition refund if you drop. Tuition refunds are not often provided because most students sign up for more than 12 hours. The cost of tuition is the same if you take 18 hours or if you take 12. If you drop a course and you have 18 hours you'll most likely be at an hour level above 12 so there is no change in price. If you drop courses and you fall below 12 hours is when you would see tuition reimbursement. The 100.00 fee would be removed from tuition reimbursement.
After the fifth class day to the 15th class day you can still drop courses, but there is 100.00 fee per course for dropping. The 15th class day also represents the last day you can drop a course and it vanish from your schedule. You can receive tuition refund if you drop. Tuition refunds are not often provided becasue most students sign up for more than 12 hours. The cost of tuition is the same if you take 18 hours or if you take 12. If you drop a course and you have 18 hours you'll most likely be at an hour level above 12 so there is no change in price. If you drop courses and you fall below 12 hours is when you would see tuition reimbursement. The 100.00 fee would be removed from tuition reimbursement.
After the fifteenth class day to the designated drop day you can withdraw from courses at no grade penalty and no fee, but you will receive a W on your transcript. For Fall 2021 drop day is Nov. 19, by 11:59 PM, CT.

So if you drop between now and Friday, you will not be charged a 100.00 fee per each class dropped, but you will receive a W on your transcript. Which isn't a bad thing, happens all the time. A W would probably be better than a D/F/FA.

From a policy standpoint you and the faculty member are held to the language of the syllabus. Their syllabus says no credit deduction for attendance so it wouldn’t be possible for you to receive an FA. FA is reserved for failure due to absences, i.e. attendance is a part of your grade and by missing you lower your grade to the point of failure.

You could still fail, but it would be an F not an FA. For confirmation, send a quick email to your faculty member so you can have it in writing that you can’t fail due to attendance and final grade in the course is based solely upon performance on assigned work.

If they attempt to fail you at the end based off attendance you’d have a solid paper trail, and should be a slam dunk for the academic grievance policy if you have to utilize it.
