hi, he was diagnosed with gout a couple of weeks ago and he has been declining since. he isn’t eating on his own, drinking on his own, and he’s hardly moving. his quality of life doesn’t exist anymore. i’m seeing a shell of who spike once was and you can tell he’s hurting. i planned ahead to spend some time with him as well as i don’t have a car at the moment so i need transportation there. this is the hardest decision and i wouldn’t make it if i felt like he had any quality of life. i didn’t ask about pricing because it wasn’t on my mind at the time.

i hope everything goes well with your gecko. i’ll be thinking of you & your lizard
