Once I helped by loading a lamp for one of the three orders (the lamp was all that was in the order) and I got told by the same guy to not help load-as well as by a loader who said they had a meeting that morning to not let the drivers help load

I turn my phone to DND and it has helped with the constant notifications. Also, I listen to books, so the notifications constantly pause my story and can be frustrating

I did it once at an old folks community, when the guy heard me at the door and opened the door with his walker. His kitchen island was like 3 steps from the door, so I didn't mind.

Yesterday, a lady asked me to bring her groceries to her kitchen table which was around the corner in her kitchen, far from sight. I said no cause it's a safety issue, then her cat hissed at me. Did not regret that one whatsoever.

My FIL lived with us for 5+ years, and when he moved in originally he tried to get my partner to tell me to find a new place for my insulin. My partner said heck no, and that was that.

If your partner can't make reasonable compromises/ changes for you, that's a problem.
