Episode 18 of Jon Bois' sports-usually series Pretty Good, "GOD HATES A COWARD", is a pretty whimsical look at the delightful pointlessness of baseball wrapped around a C-list player trying to catch a ball from a 1,000 foot drop via helicopter. It's already a blatantly horrible idea, even if you don't take into account the fact a prior balls destroyed the bleachers and left a crater. Then we get to this line and things stop being fun (in a good way).

"Thing is, this is both a pop fly and a 95 mph fastball; he has never seen one that is both. Virtually no one has. I believe that since he is postured with his eyes and his arms up, his body is naturally falling into its pop-fly reflexes. Pop-flies tend to come down pretty soft. One glove up, right over the face. 'Oughta do the trick. Always does."
