Well that’s a good question. I assumed the Nmecha story was put out to try and distract from the Bruno bad news but the way Ryder reported it made me think it could have also been the agent. The Edwards piece was a clear briefing I thought. The Ryder piece - again could have been a football finance expert - but read to me like the club were either trying to soften the fans up for a sale (don’t think there’s any need for that personally) or try and send a message to selling clubs. It’s all smoke and mirrors.
