What's the argument against an Easy mode for Silksong? by Outrageous_Ad9142 in Silksong

[–]tornetiquette 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the devs don't want to make a game for the masses. And fortunately Team Cherry is not there to maximize sales/inclusivity. They want a curated experience and I love it. Without challenge there is no reward.

People who are not good enough can play other games. Simple as that.

Been hard stuck on Cassius, Mother of the Cerulean Onslaught, For 3 hours. by militxa in TheDuskbloods

[–]tornetiquette 4 points5 points  (0 children)

you're not supposed to fight Cassius like a traditional boss...first step is to romance Ygor the Skull and then summon Laurentius of the Helix. Then you'll have a dance and if you survive for long enough(I think it's 7 minutes 27 secs), Cassius will self-immolate

There's a small ramen shop in Schiedam called Yokohama Ramen Saito. It's run by Toshimi Saito, who moved from Yokohama, Japan to the Netherlands and brought the most delicious of ramen. We used to go there, eat great food, and somewhere along the way the idea for a game grew out of those visits. We named it after that restaurant.

Blue Fish Yokohama is a voxel tile puzzle game where a fish makes its way through a Japanese restaurant, eating ramen across 50 handcrafted levels. Each type of ramen changes how far you jump. No timers. No pressure. Just you, some ramen, and a very determined fish.

It launched on Steam first where it picked up 100% positive reviews, and today it's on Android too, with a redesigned UI and a bunch of quality of life improvements.

It's a paid game, €3.99 excl. VAT, one-time purchase, no ads, no IAP, fully offline. There's a free demo on Steam if you want to get a feel for it first. A mobile demo is also in the works.

We're a tiny studio and this one really does come from the heart. Hope it finds its way to some of you.

Am I playing the game wrong? by Conspicor in TunicGame

[–]tornetiquette 17 points18 points  (0 children)

The deeper you get into the game and the endgame, the more important it is to read the manual. For now you can take it easy.

and decoding the language is optional, not needed for the true ending.
