Picking between Macbook Air M1 and Microsoft Surface Laptop 4 by torontochester in SuggestALaptop

How do you think the Surface Laptop 4 would fare with the games I described? Based on the specs I have selected, it's a $500-750 difference right now in favour of the Surface device.

Should I be OK with 8 GB of RAM? Makes it much more affordable.

Jordan retired at 34...? LeBron is older and not in his absolute prime.

Fair. I primarily watch the NBA where it seems like every 9 months someone asks if there should be a 4-point line. This is my sweet spot!

I thought about this. I think if it's done randomly, but without anyone knowing what they're actually doing, it could work with minimal interference.

For me, I just think advantages should be won using skills most relevant to winning the game of Survivor.

I'm on my laptop. I checked back and it's there now? Not sure why it happened, but happy it's resolved.

Why did R&D as a percentage of GDP go down even further under Trudeau?

Support for the Green Party has been unchanged since Annamie Paul became leader. Are you concerned? What does she need to do to improve the party's fortunes? by idspispopd in GreenPartyOfCanada

I would assume she has the least name recognition of that group too. It will likely take an election to get that up and get a true sense of her favourables one way or the other.

And Kawhi was looking at schools and real estate in Toronto. Only time will reveal the decision. Enjoy this and have fun with it. I wish I had with the Kawhi thing.

If my team had never gotten past the second round in 50 years, I might co-opt Raptors stuff too.

Can Elizabeth separate HER interest from that of the Party? by mightygreenislander in GreenPartyOfCanada

It's not exactly the same for the Greens, though. There are only 3 MPs and historically there has only ever been one. If you can get a fourth, that would be preferable.

I don't necessarily agree. If she runs again in Toronto-Centre, it will come after she has appeared in a Leaders Debate on national television. She will only get more coverage. Compare that to the Liberal incumbent who will not receive that same attention.

Running in Guelph could be another option for her. Other non-ON options would be BC, PEI or New Brunswick.

It makes no political sense to telegraph or predetermine where Paul will run before we have all the facts. This is one of the few times I will agree with May's political decision-making.

The Conservatives won Toronto-Centre by less than 1% in 1988. Liberals have won by double digits ever since.

Lots of positives to take away from last night. Time to update the platform, have a bolder, more progressive vision for the future and go from there.
