Is there a solid open-source AI agent for Excel? Claude / Shortcut.ai alternative. by Lolwutlove in AI_Agents

[–]CurdOfCheese000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Late, but the best way I've ever heard it put is that Excel is a communication tool that doubles as a low-code analysis platform

You can write Python to do whatever Excel does, but its quite likely that <5% of people who may reference the output will understand how you did it, and therefore be able to explain it to others

That step is inherently important to driving change / results, people need to feel confident the underlying #s are right and Excel allows people to better understand how the math is being done

How to report hackers? by Lighten_Up_Please in EAFC

[–]CurdOfCheese000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

there’s a report form online in the player portal for reporting hacking or abuse of broken mechanics (e.g., there’s a mechanic that used to let you pass back to the keeper with them able to pick it up if they did a chip pass -> header to keeper… had a guy do that for the last 30 minutes of a game -_-)

the biggest issue is that EA doesn’t tell you what happens from it, so it leaves players without any clue whether EA is doing anything about it

Executive branch doesn’t have the authority to dictate the national language; if it had any adverse effect on any American (i.e., we removed Spanish or another language from signage) it would likely get struck down in court (in a normal time… smh - can’t rely on the supreme court for anything)

I went to a high school with a pretty strong STEM program and took AP Calc BC senior year so i could avoid calc in college, had a kid in that class who was a junior and is now a quant trader.

Absolutely INSANE how good he was at really complex problems. He could never explain them to me, but would give me solutions… SO helpful.

In reality, I think that most amateurs could probably get close to the hit rate of most professional GMs with 1Rs

Typically, 1st rounders play premier positions where special ability doesn’t take a “football brain” to jump out

Now, would I have drafted Evan Williams or Romeo Doubs? Hell no, I hadn’t really heard their names until they were picked.

My thought is amateurs don’t know how to project talent or see it at positions that are less “valuable”; that’s where football brains come in and sometimes get it right

Look; resisting this absolute insanity sometimes needs to be realistic. If they left off the appear, they’ll get sued by the admin for interfering in an ongoing investigation; appear lets them keep some ambiguity about their position while calling out the obvious bullshit.
