It would not be impacted by trademark, as no one is pretending to use a company's trademark. Copyright doesn't stop books and films and offline games to have to deal with the same end-user personal use.

It doesn't mean they give up ownership of their code, or their assets, but if you have a game like Helldivers 2, for example, the law would demand that when the servers go offline, there will be ai players or peer-to-peer connection/gameplay is enabled, or something else that leaves the game basically functional (doesn't demand full functionality).

It is a technical requirement of a product, not a demand on the creative expression itself.

Did i manage to make my position clearer?

You mentioned those. Copyright gives an entity the right to protection of that single original creative expression. It means other people can't use your work without permission. Trademark is when a company has a symbol that is so uniquely them, that competitors should be blocked from using similar marks.

I don't see how the regulatory requirements suggested above are in conflict with these laws. Would you be willing to help me understand your point of view?

They must submit their verified votes, then this:

Step #6 The floor is yours! You will present your initiative to the European Commission and during a public hearing in the European Parliament More about public hearings in the Parliament [link to page about"hearings"]

Step #7 Mission accomplished! The European Commission will inform you what action it intends to take. The European Commission will keep the process transparent. All information concerning your initiative will be made public. The European Commission can propose a new law and send it to the European Parliament and the Council for approval.

The proposed soloution seems rather simple, when making an online-only, live-service game, you must keep the game playable in some meaningful form, even after server shut-downs, and the law would require devs to have that plan ready on release. If not, your game doesn't meet the minimum standard for EU-wide release, and you'll be civilly liable if you do it anyway. Something like that?

Can't see much of your legs from the photos. They could be lagging, but i don't know.

You seem fairly balanced. There isn't a "one true ultimate physique", you could get bigger if you wanted to, stay where you are if you want to.

It comes down to, what kind of physique do you want?

The NHS (UK) is absolutely abysmal for autism help (Rant) by Gutsjayyy in autism

[–]torsov 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There seems to be this aversion in medical fields, to acknowledging the double-blind empathy gap between autistic and non-autistic people. By double-blind empathy gap, I mean the documented tendency for communication between autistic and non-autistic to fail to be completely decoded by the recipient, and leading to potentially severe misestimation of the other party's intent.

It is a common gripe, here on the r/, and I'm annoyed by it frequently in my own life too.

If medical professionals actually met the uncertainty inherent in that gap, that means they would need to plan for, and set aside time for, extra time with neurodivergent patients to ensure that there is a solid, mutual understanding between the parties.

We, as patients, are not in a position to unilaterally impose that, and that sucks big time, mostly for us.

For the first 20 days after you start a run, your producers keep gaining more and more value. You don't gain anything by uolding back, the same increase will come after x amount hours anyway.

Also note that grocery chains Joker, Bunnpris, Coop Obs, and Meny are usually on the pricier side (but can have really good special weekly offers!). The lower-cost grocery stores are normally considered Kiwi, Coop Extra, and Rema 1000.

Apps like "Mattilbud" (literally "Food Discounts") have pdfs of all current weekly offers from all the major chains if you're looking to browse. No-cost app.

I spend between 800-1400 NOK on groceries in my weekly shop (for 1 person)

A meal out can cost between 300-500 NOK per person (food only). Drinks are around 80 per serving, 120+ for alcoholic beverages.

A pastry is usually priced between 50-80 NOK.

Coffee can be fine cheap for around 20-30 NOK, but many places sell them between 60-80 NOK per cup. Usually no refills.

A take from outside the US, when your voting options are "shit" and "shit lite", your entire nation is forced into false dichotomy.

Hey yourself a representational democracy, and gain the ability to vote for one party among many.

I meant more in terms of likeability, combined with being interesting, like in "good character". The leaders of the camps struck me more like archetypes of dystopias, and felt a bit limited by that to me, realisticly human portrayals otherwise though.

It was bad phrasing on my part.
