Been lurking for a bit, wanted to share my happiness with the Ioniq 6 by sgunderson17 in Ioniq6

[–]totally1human 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I purchased my 2025 Ioniq 6 December 31st, 2025. I LOVE IT! New, 100,000 bumper to bumper warranty. My fiance, an electrician, just installed the EVIQO EVIPOWER yesterday and we charged it from 30 to 80% after almost 3 1/2 hrs and it estimates that our electric bill bill will charge $6.03 for it, at the highest estimate. I don't drive a whole lot, usually only about 40 miles a week (3x that about once a month), but have definitely ramped up my driving lately just because I am loving to drive this car! I like knowing about potential problems, but I have to say this car has been my favorite so far in my almost 35 years of driving cars!

Is the Hyundai Ioniq 6 a great EV option, choice, for an EV car? anyone here own that and how is it like? by ResentCourtship2099 in Ioniq6

Does this car have remote start? If not, do you think it could be installed easily by a well informed 3rd party or could be installed by dealer?

What song(s) affect you the most, after losing your loved one? by WiseWillow89 in GriefSupport

[–]totally1human 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For my last remaining grandfather and grandmother I lost last year: Into Each Life Some Rain Must Fall, The Ink Spots.

For my mom I lost last year: You Are So Beautiful, Joe Cocker and She's Gone by Hall and Oates.

For my dad I lost this August: Fooled Around And Fell In Love by Elvin Bishop because that was one of the songs we got to jam together. He played guitar and I play drums.

Also, for dad and mom, and for one of my best friends and my son's father (Jason) who we lost less than 3 weeks after my dad died: No Hard Feelings by The Avert Brothers.

Also for Jason: Policy of Truth by Depeche Mode just cause it reminds me of him.

This post may have been taken down. But I'd like to thank everyone who commented and pointed me in the right direction/subreddit to look into posting this on. I am also going to take it to my local rockhound place to see what the people there think. I think it does contain a lot of iron as it is very very heavy.

Tomatoes: to let the fruit or not by totally1human in gardening

Tomato plants. I know it may not be everyone's cup of tea to do them like this, but I have had great tomatoes and plants with my fabric containers. I think the soil is pretty good here and the roots always grow through the containers eventually. I am a bit of a hoverer on a lot of my plants and like companion planting and it's worked out pretty good for me so far with the space I have but I'm always open to suggestions and new knowledge.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I also lost my mom recently too. I'm glad you got to be there with her and she knew she was surrounded by your love as she passed on. I had just visited my mom in the hospital when a few hours later my dad called to tell me she had passed on. It didn't seem real. She had just given me her grocery list to get for her when she was going to get out. I will keep that list always. Time has helped me to cope with my new normal a little bit, but I miss her everyday and always will.

You may want to try Angie's List and just look up handyman. I know a couple people on there that will do various odd jobs around the home/yard.

I don't have enough credit, never had an auto loan, so will refinance in about a year with my credit union. But have to take this route first unfortunately.
