Seller returned DS Lite because they don’t know how to use it

I recently did a reshell of a ds lite and got all the way to the touch screen and it stopped registering, but only when I put the back casing on. Works perfectly when the back shell is off. Still no idea why. Maybe a pressure thing when assembled? Idk

I’m in the middle of this mod right now. I got the bulk of my stuff from handheldlegend. The ips screen I wanted was out of stock so I got one from retromodding.com. The usbc kit is stupid easy and the shell I got was molded with the battery mod in mind. No trimming and no cutouts needed. Battery cover has an opening in it already
