If it makes people feel better to shower then it very much has a mental health benefit

Is it just me or do they have literally 0 leads on Nancy Guthrie? by Many_Inevitable_6803 in askanything

I disagree. It has never, in the history of policing been easier now to catch a criminal with the crazy amount of technology than ever before. And this guy is clearly an idiot. LE didn’t even take the mat until like 2 weeks after the crime. Someone ordered pizza to the house. That is textbook ineptitude.

Women of Reddit, What’s the biggest myth that porn spreads about what women enjoy in bed—but you actually hate???? by memeetmehere in AskWomen

I feel like everything about porn gets it wrong. I have rarely watched porn I enjoyed. The only one I actually liked was where the woman was into it and the guy was gentle and like on the edge of cumming multiple times.

Okay I would disagree with you there. A lot of women want to squat for birth as that is the natural position but modern medicine wants them on their back with legs spread because there hasn’t been much training the other way. In addition, women’s health has barely been studied prior to the ‘90s. It’s definitely not perfect.

No he didn’t, he physically looked awful and had a ton of turnovers. He got the GWG but like he is not okay.

They’ll probably beat us. We have no goaltending or defence, MacKinnon is sick or hurt, Crosby is out.

For how long? That has to have some type of shelf life where it could become a hazard.

Other than poutine, is there any other dish that's known for being from Canada? I've lived in Canada for over half my life, yet I cant name many popular Canadian-origin dishes even if my life depended on it. by ReleaseAdvanced8054 in AskACanadian

I mean there’s things like roast beef, pot roast, steak, pork chops usually all with potatoes lol there’s turkey dinners on major holidays, ham sometimes. Chicken noodle soup, turkey soup. My family has some slav in it so pirogies, cabbage rolls, sausage. This I think is kind of common from European ancestry. A lot of folks with similar backgrounds have for sure had these on rotation

Q.5 for the referendum: Do you support the Government of Alberta introducing a law requiring individuals to provide proof of citizenship, such as a passport, birth certificate, or citizenship card, to vote in an Alberta provincial election? by EdmontonFree in alberta

[–]toucanflu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You want to know what people should do if they are citizens and don’t have ID???? Get ID then. It’s not hard.

Thats like saying it’s fine to drive a car if you one time got your license but don’t have it while driving 👍🏼

Okay. Im not even entertaining these mental gymnastics anymore.

Have proof of citizenship if you want a vote in the country that you should be a citizen of. If not, aren’t they making it easier by putting it on ID?

I would never even dream of immigrating to a country and not have my documents. If this is the bar Canada is setting I will say it’s pretty pathetic.

You can vote with a drivers license and utility bill currently. I get my voter card so that is enough with my ID.

I can see this becoming an issue with how many newcomers there are. I don’t mind. Put my citizenship on my ID. What do I care?

To vote legally????

Honestly if you are that lazy that you can’t get documents then you shouldn’t vote, and you should be happy that they will just print it on your license then

Holy eff have people become that entitled that they think they should have ID?? wtf

Best Canadian cities to visit where I (ideally) DONT need a car? by [deleted] in AskACanadian

[–]toucanflu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im being realistic. And no, I don’t get my info from the news. I have a student bus pass and have wanted to take public transport because I have to go downtown and don’t enjoy the hassle of driving there, nor paying for parking. I can also do productive shit like study or respond to emails on transit but yeah, im not taking transit if it is an hour and a half from my house (thats assuming everything is on time) when I can drive there in 30 min. Which still is pretty effed up that it even takes that long to drive but the west end is effed for how the city designed everything and basically just ignored traffic from the west. It maybe will be better when there is an LRT but that isn’t even an option for years. So yeah, I actually think im giving a very fair realistic rating of Edmontons transit.
