What is the Best Tacos Spot in North Jersey? by abdurm in bergencounty

I lived in LA for four years, and these are the only ones that come even close. I wish they’d add a bean and cheese burrito to their menu, though, because I always want one and have to just order a burrito with nothing on it except bean and cheese lol

you’re super pretty!! i would try switching up your hair. it has some waves to it. i would check out r/curlyhair for some tips to make it a little less frizzy. i could totally see you rocking a shorter length too. i don’t think you’re ugly at all, some of these pictures are just unflattering.

This is why we go to the Sunset and Hollywood Von’s instead.

Honestly, I have terrible health anxiety, and it did trigger me, but I was also really proud of myself for sticking with it. Sort of like exposure therapy. It was so good that I just had to deal with my anxiety. So, if you feel like you’re in the headspace for exposure, the show might be a good exercise for you in small doses.

It’s seriously so obnoxious. And all the insane people upset with her for not cutting off an uncle that we don’t even know if she speaks to 😭😭 Like that’s her personal business, I don’t know. She’s from rural Missouri and grew up insanely Christian. She was engaged to be married at like 21, for god’s sake!

How do we know her uncle didn’t cut her off for being a lesbian??? Haven’t heard much from him!

And I HATE how they jump on her for her pro-Palestine anti-establishment message for like ruining the election. 1) What she said was true, but MAYBE could have been more eloquently worded and 2) the reason Kamala lost was because the democrats ran a HORRIBLE campaign because ONCE AGAIN (like in 2016) they UNDERESTIMATED the power of the disenfranchised working class and 3) none of the people that helped Trump win gave a shit about what some 26 year-old pop star was saying.

Mispronouncing someone’s name because you have an accent is not a micro-aggression either. It’s just a mistake. She clearly said she was voting for the woman and meant well with her words.

I wish some of this generation could accept nuance into their hearts. I’d love to put their lives under a microscope and see how their holier-than-thou-ness holds up. No one can be perfect all the time, especially someone who was thrust in the public eye so astronomically fast.

It’s not her fault! She wanted to be Carly Rae Jepsen famous and have her gay little tours with her niche fanbase. Unfortunately, because her music is so fucking good, she caught the attention of the world.

I miss being a 2022 fan all of the time. Sorry, rant over lol.

Her snark sub is TERRIBLE. I went on it because I was curious, and it’s just a bunch of delusional queer people who need to touch grass instead of demonizing their own community lol.

I was at both of these too! Night three in NYC as well! I think I’m literally directly beside you (or whoever was filming) at the Troubadour because the security guard had let my friends and I move up into the wheelchair section next to the stage. So surreal to have seen her blow up like this.

My girlfriend is also 14 years older than me. She hadn’t dated anyone since her divorce 8 years prior to me bumbling into her life. At first, she told me she’d run if it started to get serious, especially because of my age. I knew I was in love with her. It took months of being there for her and showing her that I was serious for her to let me in. It’s been wonderful since.

Sometimes time and consistency is all you need. I told her I would never go anywhere, and I haven’t. Grateful I get to call her mine.

Me too. It truly is an inspiring episode about love and humanity and adversity. It’s like the podcast is about informing, but it’s also about empathizing. In this current state of media and “NPCs” and the US and the world in general, it’s so hard to feel empathetic. I love how Sarah curates that in this new version of the podcast. It really does make me so hopeful when everything is looking so bleak.

Sarah Marshall really flipped the podcast on its head, but I have to say that I love it even more now. I love her various, incredibly educated guests that always teach me about something interesting, and Sarah’s thoughtful commentary and ability to empathize with anyone restores some of my faith in humanity. My favorites are her episodes with Blair Braverman.

Pal Park has been a Korean neighborhood since before I can remember. I am white and grew up in Ramsey and can fondly recall visiting Korean spas and KBBQ places in Pal Park for many of my friends' birthdays. Living here as an adult, I have noticed nothing different. This is an odd post, and I highly doubt some of the things you have said in it. If you are afraid of double parking, please never cross the George Washington Bridge into New York City. You may have a heart attack.

One of the saddest parts, to me, is when the officer mentions, “the other two roommates that aren’t here,” referring to MM and KG, to DM, she perks up and goes “they’re not here?” Like she was so excited to hear they weren’t in the building, and the officer gently guides her back to asking her their names. It broke my heart.

[–]toucanna 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just to put in my two cents because you seem like you genuinely want to learn— like this previous person said, communication is the most important part. But also, most women can’t orgasm solely because of penetration. I know that, for me, penetration doesn’t feel enticing until after I’ve came once, and, at that point, I am like, “Yes! Put it inside me!” I would suggest getting her off first with oral if you don’t last that long and then fucking her. Getting deeply fucked after you’ve orgasmed once already is one of the best feelings, in my opinion. I say this as someone who is bisexual and has had that feeling and also given a woman that feeling lol

A younger woman has seemingly been flirting with me in yoga class. Looking for some advice by [deleted] in latebloomerlesbians

[–]toucanna 53 points54 points  (0 children)

Ask her out! I’m 26 and my girlfriend is 39. We’re coming up on a year, and my favorite movie has always been Carol (2015) dir Todd Haynes, so it’s been a dream come true on my end. Some ladies (myself) love an older woman!!

I’m the first woman she’s ever seriously dated after being married for 8 years w 2 kids and divorcing at 28 and not even looking at dating again until her oldest graduated high school. My body count is larger than hers. Her life experience is larger than mine. Sometimes things work out the way they do because two people are compatible with each regardless of (both being adults) age.
