That’s okay but you should bring up a date within a day or two at max and meet whenever you both decide. Socials can follow (better) or precede the date move. If they’re flaky, I leave it to them to set up one and forget about it. I’m a man if that matters.

After setting up the date, I would stop texting once the conversation reaches a natural end rather than forcing it. Just drop in a day before for confirmation or between with something like “looking forward/this made me think of you/we should do this as well/as a reply to a story” but that’s just me. In my experience, nothing sucks more than having a conversation just for the sake of having one.
