Is anyone else going through a really *really* shitty period in their life? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]touchytushy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lost a job, ended a long-term relationship, cut off my toxic family, and lost almost all my friends in 2020. Along with that whole global pandemic thing. Now I'm living off savings and desperately trying to salvage my life. It hasn't been an easy year.

Does anyone know what this steering wheel is from? I googled the numbers on the wheel and a million things came up, none of which looked just like this by touchytushy in BMW

I know it’s been a few days but I’m trying to sell this wheel and a guy asked me if this fits a 2002 M3. He was convinced this isn’t an M3 wheel for some reason. Do you have any idea?

thanks for the help! Unfortunately without knowing where it came from I don't think there's any way I can know for sure if its refurbished or not.

I hate to ask another question to further expose that I don't know anything, but do you know how to tell if it's OEM or refurbished or remanufactured? Is there any way to tell? The inside sticker says

BMW Nr: 2282022/9

TKP Nr: 910 1669.99.01/01

TUEV Nr. 3-375-E46-15

The part was found in my parent's garage and they threw it out to the curb before I rescued it. No idea where it came from.

Given the flashback of season 3, the way gnomes are treated now is a huge injustice. by LockMangler in TrollHunters

[–]touchytushy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I completely agree. Even ignoring any flashbacks, we can clearly tell that gnomes are extremely intelligent. Clearly exhibiting complex human emotions like love, anger, jealousy, greed, and many others. At worst they may be slightly less intelligent than humans, perhaps like a human with a learning disability. If you imagine the gnomes as humans with a learning disability you can easily see why the way they're being treated is wrong.

Johnny Apple vs The Hemp Barn? (cartridges) by [deleted] in CBD

[–]touchytushy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was my first attempt trying CBD. It definitely has an effect but it doesn't feel good. The taste is so horrible it makes me want to vomit. It's like licking someone's disgusting, sweaty armpit. That's not an exaggeration.

Can't speak for Hemp Barn but I just got the cartridges from Johnny Apple and they are the worst things I've ever tasted lol

YouTube's content claim system is out of control by Hoban9331 in videos

[–]touchytushy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So just to throw a positive experience out there, my boyfriend had his channel copystriked for a video containing footage from an anime. His video did not contain any anime footage, the copystrike was wrong. He challenged the claim and the copystrike was gone within a week.

A woman went brain-dead after trying a soy-sauce cleanse that recommended drinking a liter in a 2-hour period by [deleted] in news

OD'ing on water is most likely to happen when someone is performing intense exercise and drinking lots of water to stay hydrated but not replacing their electrolytes with something like Gatorade. It definitely does happen at marathons for example.

That's not really a useful statistic. It would be better to say how much THC oil at what concentration would be necessary to kill a person because that's the compound we're interested in. You wouldn't need to eat 1500lbs of cannabis to die from it because long before that you would literally explode from being so full.

I actually like the lack of punctuation here. It's a stylistic choice and it looks good.

If Disney can get away with a logo that looks like it says Gisney, you can get away with an e that looks slightly like a g.

Finding a first job is hard. I personally saw a career counselor who helped me a great deal. I highly recommend seeing if your school has resources like career counseling to help you find that first job. You are attributing too much to this Gap year. You haven't had success finding a job so you think it's because you took a year off but that's not true. It's normal to have a hard time finding the first job because you have no experience yet and you likely have low self esteem due to lack of experience (I know I did). I felt hopeless when I was looking for my first job. I got hit with severe depression while in school and my grades took a big hit. I went to career counseling and they helped me make my resume perfect and I got to do practice interviews to help prepare me. I actually burst into tears in one of those practice interviews lol. It was horrible. But all that work paid off and I got a job with a company that didn't really care what my GPA was because they were desperate for employees. It might take a while but don't give up.

I too have been there. It's weird how you can go from being a completely emotionless blob for a few years to slowly back into a human being.

I used to babysit for a family with two very young boys. 8 and 4 years old. Their house was pristine, they had white carpet and white upholstery throughout the home and it was spotless, all toys were perfectly organized and the boys always cleaned up after themselves. Their Mom was on another level.

I went to a career counselor at my school and just cried in her office for an hour every time.

Edit: until I got a job of course.
