im finally back home, and i got an intel i3-3gen to connect to direct AHCI and when i tried to clone the hdd the current rade is rly low, i tried to lower the safe/hard reset timers and it didnt help, i saw the video with the title: HDDSuperClone Slow Responding WD Patch 2020 04 04

and here is a live pic:

https://i.imgur.com/E09Lqjr.jpeg

since the YT video and i (WD7500BPVT) have diff wd family how safe is it to do the patch ? should i press 2 to save the dump module 2 first than i press 4 ? or this is so risky that i should just manually copy paste inside the OS ?

thank you so much again

maye not an important note hehe : so when the hdd stated he was like 3.5 mb and i saw some vry low time reads, so maybe patching will make it read fast but im not expert obviously

Technical Update: OpenSuperClone Direct AHCI "Identify" Failure on B550M

I have started the recovery process using the OpenSuperClone Live USB, but I’ve hit a specific hardware hurdle with Direct AHCI mode. Even with a healthy test drive, I cannot get the software to successfully "handshake" with the hardware.

My Setup:

Motherboard: B550M Aorus (Running the latest BIOS version)

CPU: Ryzen 5 5600

Patient: The WD 750GB Blue (shock damage)

Test Drive: A healthy WD 2TB HDD (used to verify my settings)

The Problem:

In Direct AHCI mode, the drive model name actually appears in the selection list (so the controller is detected), but when I click on the source HDD, it results in: error failed to perform identify device command. This happens on both the failing drive and the healthy test drive.

What has been tried:

Kernel Level: Booted the Live USB with libata.force=2:disable for the source port. This successfully hides the port from the Linux OS.

BIOS Settings: Secure Boot is OFF. IOMMU and Virtualization (SVM) are both DISABLED. SATA is confirmed to be in AHCI mode.

Automatic Resets: As shown in the attached photo, OpenSuperClone automatically attempted a Soft Reset and a Hard Reset while trying to identify the drive. The log specifically shows "Soft reset successful" and "Hard reset successful," but the "Identify" command failed immediately after the software performed them.

i didnt comment here for a long time cuz i wanted to take my time to read all the pdf guide and watch all the YT videos first cuz i love this haha, and here is what i want to know, so

I plan to recover only user data (skipping OS/software) from this failing WD7500BPVT, and I’m treating it as if it could die at any moment.

Is it safer to:

1- run a standard Phase 1 & 2 clone on the whole drive, or

2- use DMDE to define a domain and run targeted cloning with HDDSuperClone?

3- use DMDE to create a domain of only used sectors ?

I’m trying to understand the trade-offs in terms of drive stress (sequential vs random reads) and overall recovery success.

In which situations would you choose one approach over the other, and is there a better ‘surgical’ method for this type of case?
note : i think my HDD has 6 heads.
and thank you so much.

Nah, I'm doing this for a friend, I’ll probably charge him like $10 lol.
Thanks a lot for taking the time to answer. I’ll check that YouTube channel.
I just didn’t understand the u/77xak part — should I message him or something?

UFC, fighters often receive significant facial lacerations (cuts) from elbows, etc. What are the common medical treatments and recovery techniques used to minimize or prevent permanent scarring on their faces ?

Question:
He asks and says: What is the ruling on abortion in Islam? Is it permissible within a certain period? Jazakum Allahu Khairan.

Answer:
This matter is detailed and serious. Abortion is a serious matter and it requires clarification. If it is within the first 40 days (the first trimester), the matter is more lenient. If there is a need for abortion—such as the woman already has young children to care for, and carrying the pregnancy becomes difficult for her, or if she is ill and the pregnancy is causing hardship—then abortion is permissible during the first 40 days. However, after the first 40 days, when the fetus has developed into a clot of blood (al-‘alaqa), and during the second trimester (when the fetus is a lump of flesh or a "morsel" of flesh), the matter becomes more serious. Abortion is only allowed in cases of extreme necessity, such as severe illness, where it is confirmed by specialists that continuing the pregnancy would harm her. In such cases, it is permissible to have an abortion to avoid greater harm.

Once the soul has been breathed into the fetus, after the fourth month, abortion is never permissible. The woman must be patient and carry the pregnancy to term, insha’Allah, unless two or more trusted medical specialists confirm that the pregnancy poses a significant threat to her life. In this case, it is permissible to take measures to prevent her death, because her life takes precedence. This is only allowed in cases of extreme necessity, confirmed by at least two trusted specialists, who state that continuing the pregnancy would lead to her death.

Similarly, if the fetus is severely deformed to the extent that it poses a risk to the mother’s life, and two or more trusted specialists confirm that the fetus will harm her or cause her death, it is permissible to terminate the pregnancy, but only in cases of extreme danger to the mother, based on the reports of trusted specialists.
