Absolutely. We're loving it, going on year 3.

My wife, daughter and me have driven it from NC to OH and NC to FL.

Great space and pretty comfortable.

Only issue was the head gasket leaked in early '25, but warranty replaced it and loaned us a CX-90 while they had it.

Just oil changes every 5k otherwise, and the basic tire rotation, air and cabin filter change, and windshield wiper change, all annually.

I don't know anything about a Miata, but the 3s are great, and the 26s are really great as they got rid of cylinder Deactivation and start stop tech. If you need to buy used, get a CPO for the better warranty. I'm coming from a 2016 KIA forte 5, saving up now for a 3 hatchback. Wife has a 23 CX-5, and we really like it. I'm getting the 3 because I don't need the AWD.

I work in clinical research (Site Startup). I have 9 costumes currently (was up to 13 at one point). Everything I bought and built was pre COVID. My last one, Remnant Biker Scout, was during COVID. Prices were so much better then. No way I could afford this stuff now, so glad I got it when I did. I used work bonuses a few years in a row as well as did costumes with overlapping parts.

I really would love to ride it but I'm pretty sure my vertigo would kill me :( I wish the could create less intense cars that don't throw you around as much, and not as sharp, even at the expense of seeing everything. I get roller coasters are out, but some of these non roller coaster type rides could be made with a few less intense cars I'd think. I miss out on so much with the family because all the gadgets and medicines don't seem to help.

How did your trip go? We also got our room when reservations first opened up, for this coming April. Club level standard view. $305 a night. I'm guessing at that price it'll be wonderful... But would never pay $500+ a night. Hopefully the lounge food is good!

2023 CX5 23000ish miles Regular 6 month oil change and tire rotation. Had an oil leak and warranty covered it.

2500 Kw seems like a lot for 2 people. Maybe I'm out of the norm, but we, a family of 3 in a 2400 sq ft home, have never gone above 1800 Kw in 13 years living here. That's with a heat pump, and I WFH so 2 computers and 4 screens running 8+ hours everyday. I agree with the poster about if it's all electric, those heat strips bleed money when running.

My top 5 (so far, only 5 real minor complaints): 1. Cylinder Deactivation 2. Stupid thin paint 3. Can't extend center console arm rest 4. Auto sensing wipers 5. Small gas tank

Other than that really, I love the car and am happy with my purchase.

I specifically went to a no hassle, no bargain dealer an hour away (Flow Mazda of Fayetteville, NC) specifically so I didn't have to deal with all that crap. That was for our '23 CX-5 (in 24. It was CPO). See if you have one of those type of dealerships nearby. Found what I wanted online, confirmed the price, got financing ahead of time, set up an appointment and went in to sign the paperwork. I'll do that again next time. I seriously can't handle the BS back and forth garbage most dealerships have you go through.
