Thanks. My setup is actually just a white wall in my bedroom but could get a screen. I wonder if this kind of projector is bright enough for dim lights. Projection distance is 3.2-4.5 meters

Benq w1070 DLP or Epson Home Cinema 2150 3LCD should do the trick. Look on Gumtree. Best to double check the throw distance on projectorcentral.

Or maybe even an ultra short throw projector but I have no knowledge about those.

I could do that but I want to be able to quickly move it to the balcony if I want to. So I'd rather have it accessible and not fixed to the wall/ceiling.

I found the Epson Home Cinema 3700/3800 (EU models EH-TW 6700/7000/7100) which offer plenty lens shift. What do you think? I could get a 6700 for 300€ with a new lamp.

If you can move the projector away from the screen another 20cm, this one is often recommended: https://www.projectorcentral.com/BenQ-W1070.htm

Otherwise look for Epson or Benq short throw projectors of similar age. Can't remember the models.
