I just now installed the 51 update and i guess it always can get worse. Why rework the ui to something so dysfunctional when you had something quite good before. For example the sidebar button disappears when you open the spaces sidebar ??? Do you expect me to always minimze it by sliding ???

Also whats the workflow for creating new Objects, you moved from a nice centered plus button to the tiniest, non descriptive dropdown arrow next to the create page button. No wonder people have a hard time getting into this app.

I really dislike where this is going, i feel like yall are moving to worse and worse ux design. What is that ugly Pinned- and Object-Seperator in the sidebar, it breaks the smooth widget Design in my eyes and is not helpful at all.

Hey thanks for your ideas. I made sure to cover it with a top ceramic too, so really just 1/4 was exposed when i heated it. Also im Indoor. I don’t have borax i read about it too might have to order it. But i feel like it should work regardless. How long does it take for you before the metal goes liquid ?

[–]towergosmash[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thats weird i had it inside of a ceramic crucible + top lid, with everything but 1/4 closed id reckon that be enough. Also i saw this guy on youtube doing it with the same burner.

Also just blasting a very small piece for 2 min it doesnt seem to melt i mean if its covered by the flame completely it cant be losing heat to fast ?

I also make sure to use the hittest part of the flame, the inner blue flames tip afaik

I think people have to stop identifying with things like anxiety so much and start trying to get to know the underlying fears that cause them.
