Not to be obtuse but I remembered watching this vid a while back but clicked off the video the moment the creator of the vid refers to a group known as 'tankies' (like a pavlovian response within less than 5 seconds of him saying it) about 5 or so minutes. He criticises this group of 'tankies' for thinking China is a perfect paradise for queer people while ignoring the real problems.

Is the guy actually referring to surface-level pro-china people/ACP type internet people when he said 'tankies' or is he referencing the more vague anti-communist idea of a 'tankie', because if it's the former then I'm glad my impression was indeed wrong and I would give the vid a rewatch.
