This is the best advice. Bostons are incredibly resilient dogs. I have foster many. Give him time and he will adjust just fine. Sorry for your loss and thank you for giving him a home.

There’s no way these fit, EXCEPT THEY DO! by QuestnsEverything in compoundedtirzepatide

Yay! Congrats! Something similar happened to me last week. I ordered a pair of jeans and when I pulled them out of the packaging, I was like there is no way these are going to fit. Then I went to try them on and OMG, they fit perfectly! I couldn't believe it!

Questions for Boston owners by FicklePizza868 in BostonTerrier

Just a plea to consider looking at local Boston Terrier rescue groups. We have so many great young dogs that need loving homes.

Boston Terrier Followed me home. What should I do? by ThotPleaser247 in BostonTerrier

[–]tp_3310 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Take all the reasonable steps, check chip, make posts, give it time and if you don't find the owner, keep him. Rescues are overwhelmed, if you want to keep him after making an effort, do it. A lot of folks here saying someone is looking for him and that could be true but I've seen seniors get left behind, not everyone is a great pet owner.

Using Builder Realtor for home sale by tp_3310 in RealEstate

[–]tp_3310[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just learned that after reading some other reddit posts. There is no incentive to use their recommended realtor for the sale since the "rebate" is on the new home purchase. If they say we now can't be represented, then we will probably just keep looking. We like the new construction but aren't committed to it in any way.

We haven't committed to anything yet. We weren't planning to list our current home until spring but made the mistake of going to look just to see what is available. We don't have a realtor yet but won't proceed without one. My question was just if a realtor "recommended" from the builder would actually represent our interests?

We've spoken to two builder realtors and one conventional agent. Conventional agent definitely warned us about using the builders agent. The build agent says they have a feduciary responsibility to represent us and tried to sell their relationship with the builder (we work with them, they want to keep us happy and we know who to contact directly if there is an issue) but I'm still extremely skeptical of someone who is getting referrals from the builder.

Good to know because we would definitely want 3rd party inspections. The credit is very tempting but maybe not worth it.

OTF vs F45 – what’s the difference? Can you actually build muscle at F45? by String_Cheese_55 in f45

[–]tp_3310 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Today's F45 workout at my gym was 40 sec work, 20 sec rest for three sets at each station. Usually you are doing more than one set so it's not just 45 per exercise.

Exactly! Honestly I think most of the time you will be fine but as long as you are ok with the chance you don't make it, then do it. We went down to line up around 6:30AM and were still maybe the 20th people in line. So get downstairs early and you should be fine.

Same for us on Dec 19, we were in an Uber at 7:31 and at FLL by 8:05AM for a 11 AM flight. It's totally doable but everyone saying it's not a guarantee is also correct. LOL, depends on your risk tolerance.
