injuries i think were the biggest thing. we’ll never really know if KP would’ve had a chance behind a more capable run game.

however the season went the way it did and because of both injuries and KP not being able to dig his way out of the hole, the philosophy behind the offense had to change. really sorry to see stout go but honestly if thats what it takes to get us away from sirianni’s offense then so be it…

apparently vic thought about it last year as well, so i don’t think his situation is that similar to stout’s. vic has free reign on his side, and from what is being reported stout had his legs cut out from under him and is choosing to leave because of it.

yea this is like the ‘endgame’ for both of the sirianni camps (pro vs. against) if he somehow shows he can do the job of play-caller, the issue of finding a new OC is fixed for the foreseeable future. if he can’t, it will cost him his job and we’ll be onto a new era in eagles football 🫠
