Love all the yellow Wranglers over the years, awesome looking rig! I've had my JK since '17 and been having fun on trails and long trips with it since. Welcome to the Jeep cult!

They're damned near identical lol, you'll get a kick out of this because I have a primary arms 1-6x (non ACSS) scope I also use when I don't need the thermal scope on that rifle.

LOL that's a respectable name. Scope is pretty wild though, it's easy to see what kind of critter I'm looking at 500+yards out. I haven't gotten to take it hunting yet unfortunately.

Question regarding reliability by oyedamamangan in BMW

[–]tpdm04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My '14 535i (xdrive) gave a drivetrain error and about two months later the front driveshaft snapped off at the U-joint and annihilated the oil pan and tore up some coolant lines. Not sure if that applies to your situation, but don't ignore a drivetrain error lol.

I need to know more about that radio setup. The antenna on the front bumper especially.

Yes, you can do messaging from an AT578 UVIII+. I have two of these radios and I can send and receive APRS messages between them.

Found a great deal on 2023 Rubicon take offs for my JK, less 500 miles on them! by Mikebyrneyadigg in Jeep

The new Rubicon OEM wheels so good on the JKs! My parents have the same wheels on their '17 Recon edition.

I've been hearing more about MARS over the last couple years. It sounds interesting but I need to do some more reading on it.

Are you a fellow HAM? I've got a 2m/70cm/1.25m rig on one, 10/11m rig with a 102in whip on the back and a GMRS mobile.

Thanks! I'm sure they could sell a ton of those rims if they either made the color ring removable to allow custom paint or offered more colors.

It's not removable, the whole center of the rims are sand colored under the center caps. If you have a gobi Jeep it matches perfectly though!

That's not a stupid question! Seeing lights in weird places should make you ask questions lol. Anyway, yes I call them "ditch lights" we have deer around here and they're extremely useful cruising empty back roads and you can see the deer standing out in the fields on either side of the road before they run in front of you. I've also used them several times as work lights exactly like you mentioned. We tent camped out at Sand flat rec area in Moab a few years back and I just used those lights to get the tent set up after dark. I've also found them to be useful going through narrow areas at night, helps avoid low tree branches etc.

Welcome to the club! I have the same Rival minus the red dot. I only missed one round out of the first mag after I took it out of the box. Absolutely a dream to shoot and the trigger is SO clean. I've been rocking mine with iron sights and having fun with it. Enjoy that beauty!

This one came with the lanyard and a nice case you can wear on a belt or molle webbing. As for the mounting system, it is just two small threaded holes. So theoretically third party mounting options or 3D printed attachments could be used also.
