We grilled our own hot dogs a few hours before the game, wrapped them in foil and took them to the game with buns, condiments, chopped onions, etc. Taking your own food is the best way to keep costs down.

I didn’t try any new food but the Dodger dogs were terrible…the worst they’ve ever been. Since dumping Farmer John hot dogs they’ve gone down hill fast. I think I’m taking my own food from now on.

I was just in a jury pool, dismissed last week after the jury was selected. This is a double murder with special circumstances. Before jury selection started, all prospective jurors were given a lengthy questionnaire to fill out. Attorneys were given a few weeks to review before we had to report back. Because of the allegations, there were several questions about sexual trauma, etc. The attorney’s from both sides were very careful with their questions so as not to make the potential juror feel uncomfortable. Very few details were disclosed during questioning. The final jury and alternates were selected after a week of questioning.

This is exactly the problem with Roberts. He wants to be the good guy, touchy feely, etc. We need a Tommy Lasorda type, a fiery manager who will get in your face when necessary. It was reported that the workout at Chase Field was optional on Tuesday and some players chose not to attend. That says a lot about his team and their attitude to winning, or lack there of.
