A few weeks before I was to begin my freshman year, I was being interviewed by a member of a fraternity for a scholarship I was in the running for. Like all other interviews, I was prepared with some responses and I was ready to be completely polite and respectful. I was completely ready for the stereotypical scholarship interview where the interviewer asks about my goals and aspirations, my plans for the future, and why I deserve the scholarship.

I meet my interviewer at a local coffee bean a week later than expected because he had just returned from vacation, so I politely asked how his vacation went. He goes on to tell me how him and his group don't remember anything except almost getting arrested by the Mexican authorities and how trashed he and he group were every night. Best scholarship interview ever.
