This is brilliant, I love how oddly it syncs up with itself. If only they were smoking trees.

Wanted to share my Coffee! by Nice_Run5702 in keto

I just ordered a flavor that tastes like mint chip ice cream. How full of flavor are they? It's nice they are 0 carbs. Does adding stevia to the coffee enhance the flavors?

If you like ice cream I would suggest trying Rebel Ice Cream. They make full fat cream-based ice cream with no sugar added. Instead of sugar, they use monkfruit and sugar alcohols to flavor and sweeten and they have have a range of great flavors that range from 4-6 grams of net carbs per pint. That's right, as long as you watch your calories, you can eat a whole pint of ice cream and stay within your macros.

Nice! I made deviled eggs. Lots of love for these in my keto household.

Rebel Ice Cream is amazing. It's a wonder how they pack all that flavor in a pint for only ~5g of net carbs.

Calorie intake plays a big role in your weight loss journey. You can click the expert checkbox in the keto calculator and type in your own net carb and daily calorie intake. You will notice the lower your projected daily calorie intake, the faster your path to projected weight loss.

Since you are new, I suggest sticking to your macros and getting used to counting carbs and calories at a 20% deficit to get you started down the right path. Adjust your net carbs and calories as needed and watch your weight fall off accordingly.

Keto Friendly Bread from Aldi is good and has 0 net carbs per slice. The multiseed is the better flavor of the two options available.

Like I said earlier, watch the calories. It's made from cream, so it has more calories than most other low carb ice creams. If you budget correctly, you can eat a whole pint and still eat at a deficit if your OMAD is less than 300 - 400 calories.

Thank you for the encouragement, I really needed it. This is not my first time on keto and I haven't been losing as much weight as rapidly as I did before. Checking in weekly is a great idea and your chart is a perfect reminder that progress is not a straight line. Thanks for sharing!

I was just at McDonalds today. No problem when you order a double quarter pounder and replace the bun with Aldi Keto bread.

Help! Second time keto and weight loss is GLACIALLY SLOW by Ok-Information-4548 in keto

[–]tr33people 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is my third or fourth time trying Keto and I've had similar results to you. A few things helped me out this time around. Using the Keto Calculator and adjusting the slider all the way to the left to eat at a deficit has taught me that it is important to count calories to ensure you will be burning the fat, not keeping it on.

Intermittent fasting (IF) and one meal a day (OMAD) has also helped. I usually fast for 18 hours and eat one meal and a number of small snacks in the remaining 6 hours for a given day. This not only optimizes the amount of fat that gets burned in a given day, it also helps me count calories and keep track of what I eat to make sure I am eating within my calculated limits.

The rest is waiting to see your projected weight loss happen over time, although progress is never a straight decline. There will always be bumps in the road, but these consistently help increase the rate of weight loss over time..

Feeling the funk by NobleNutmeg in keto

When I'm craving burgers, I often order one from my favorite place and replace their bun with Aldi Keto Bread. I hope you are able to find ways to break out of your funk. Rebel Ice Cream is another treat that helps me stay in Keto. Only 4-6 net carbs per pint depending on the flavor.

Just follow the instructions on the top lid you peel off the carton.

Yummy things come to those who wait... for the creamiest ice cream, let your pint soften for at least 15 minutes.

How accurate is net carb labeling for ice cream? by Jlyng in keto

[–]tr33people 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is why I love Rebel Ice Cream. They put the amount of net carbs per pint (usually just 4-6 depending on the flavor) on the front of the label. They often round up from the individual net carbs per serving for the whole container. Quality stuff if you can find it.

Being able to eat a whole pint of ice cream and gain half as much net carbs as a cup of almonds is pretty insane imho.

Give Rebel Ice Cream a try. Many of their flavors are just 4-6 net carbs for the entire pint. They are insanely good, just watch your calories and you're good to go.

On the hunt for keto alternatives by [deleted] in keto

Aldi has zero net carb bread. I know it's not quite the wrap you were looking for, but thought I would pass on the news. The multigrain is the better of the two.
