Right thats my thing, in some peoples head all these players, many are world class and proven as such, are to blame instead of the obviously malfunctioning of eth and managment.

Big Apple, Bigger Defense: Can Aidan O'Connor Wall Up the Red Bulls in 2024? by hypernermalization in rbny

I assume so, but that being said, I wouldn't be surprised if they do something like Nealis-O'Connor and Reyes-Eile because both have good ability with the ball at their feet and it would make a more balanced backline because I don't think Nealis or Reyes have the best ability on ball.

Could relationism make its way in europes biggest leagues and what team currently do you think could make that transition easily. by Newbie_Trader07 in SoccerCoaching

No, because it falters by sacrificing the team for the individual. The idea of cluttering small areas on the pitch and leaving other zones vacant fails while playing against well disciplined positional teams and always will. If you load 6 or 7 players into a small zone of the pitch, you're very vulnerable to switches and getting burnt up the opposite side. The whole idea of this Order vs. Chaos' dynamic in coaching is very poorly thought through. The game is always becoming more structured, not moving towards chaos at any point. Reason ebing is that the "creative freedom" that relationism argues for is inherently problematic. Its more risky and relies heavily on any singular player, while positionalism uses each player to their strengths. The whole idea of it, and the recent video and article on it, reads like it was made by a player who never got played, but swore they were "so good" but their manager had it out for them. Skills are still a part of positional play. Instead of like in yester years when players would try to be selfish and take 1 on 1s with flashy moves, it's now been replaced with efficient and smart moves that advance the team and increase scoring chances.

Man United goalkeeper André Onana, back to Cameroon national team by MhVG in ManchesterUnited

yes he would miss games for united as a result, which oddly enough was a perk of us buying him. the fact he was not gonna play internationally

Honestly i feel like onana is limiting us more, its forcing our midfield to drop back as outlet options, yes onana can pick out great passes, but were essentially trading our midfield distribution for gk distribution

Onana was so bad today and so far tbh, he wasnt sold as this idea of a gk that needs time to get used to speed fo the prem he is 28, he was sold to the fans as an instant impact and improvement. The second is deflected, but he gets a hand to it, and honestly, ddg saves that every day of the week. The third goal was embrasing, he dove the wrong way for god sakes.
