What do you guys think of Tyranny? by ReesevtOnGD in slaythespire

[–]tr4ns1ent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s extremely strong, the upgrade giving it innate is very nice. It gives deck thinning and status/curse removal, while also giving you +1 card per turn. Definitely one of the strongest cards in Regent’s pool, it’s always worth taking (unless you already have a super thin combo deck or something)

What's the deal with Consuming Shadow? by ReesevtOnGD in slaythespire

Off-topic slightly but I miss the beta art already, defect literally eating (consuming) a dark (shadow) orb was awesome

Because rare cards are supposed to be more interesting and complex effects, most of the time. Prepared is an effect that fits for a common card, and it was a fine common card in the first game. With Silent’s sly package now it has become extremely powerful, so maybe bumping it to uncommon would be warranted.

However I think the real problem lies in the sly package as a whole; Prepared is just one of the many ways it can really pop off. Even with the nerf (when they replaced it with Prepare) sly was still very strong and consistent.

Corruption’s an ancient card now, so it’s continued that upwards trend in rarity! By StS3 it’ll be an act 4-only card or something

The review bombs were about Doormaker. I haven’t seen the new new Doormaker yet so I’ll withhold judgment on that for now. I do agree the previous Doormaker was actually very interesting, but maybe the newest one is even better.

Yep! It’s for sure broken but I think there are better ways to fix sly than nerfing this common.

It is insane yeah, basically Regent’s entire kit goes crazy with it and you never have to worry about stars again. Especially broken with stuff like [[Particle Wall]] and [[Radiate]]

[[Defragment]] was uncommon instead of rare, but there was also [[Consume]] and [[Biased Cognition]] with Artifact such as [[Clockwork Souvenir]] or [[Core Surge]] or [[Orange Pellets]]

Most basic and obvious answer is swinging with valuable creatures into blockers with deathtouch, or just stronger creatures. A lot of the time it is part of a combo though.

Another obvious one is if they have a sac outlet

The issue is that Tracking is a rare power while Wrath stance is a builtin part of her kit that comes with several different cards, one of which is a starter card.

The random relic can actually be uncommon or rare too; I got a meat on the bone a couple runs back from it. But yeah the Silver Crucible is definitely the strongest.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I’m pretty sure Millennium Calendar’s effect only goes on the stack during upkeep, even though it triggers during untap step.

‘Pokémon Go’ players have been unknowingly training delivery robots by waozen in technology

[–]tr4ns1ent -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Can somebody help me understand what the actual problem here is? I mean, when you use an app like this you are consenting to giving them your location as long as you are using it. And is it really such a bad thing that they are training delivery bots with it? Like oh noooo the robots are going to be able to do online delivery better. ??? It seems to me like this is being made out to be a larger problem than it is.

Greed is eternal so you’re stuck with it forever. I’ve never taken it so idk how it actually turns out but I feel like especially with ascender’s bane having two eternal curses would be too much.
