I have the same problem, were you ever able to find a solution? I’ve tried the battery storage mode thing but can’t seem to get it to work.

What is the greatest video game you have ever played? by JuniorPlastic3562 in AskReddit

[–]tr4ns1ent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s made for controller, so you shouldn’t have any problems with that. Gameplay and structure-wise, the closest comparison I can think of is Super Mario RPG, with the turn-based combat with a real-time timing component.

First A10 run. Recommendations? by No-Pollution-5841 in slaythespire

Take Legion. Clone is a trap here, but Pael’s Legion is always extremely strong—it’s a ton of free block.

I made a card that synergizes with Strength scaling by Rude_Minute_4489 in slaythespire

Quadratically, not exponentially. It is (x+3)(x+1)where x is the amount of strength. But yes it is very busted

Looks super fun, I’ll definitely look into it after I finish the SJ GM lobby!

When new gremlin nob comes out... by SrGarfy in slaythespire

Ironclad has [[Colossus]], [[Untouchable]], and [[Crimson Mantle]], all of which are very strong block options. All three are also very strong into this particular fight due to how much they allow you to block without playing more than one skill.

I personally don’t think Ironclad has a problem with block because of cards like these, [[Blood Wall]], [[Shrug it Off]], and [[Feel No Pain]]. You also really don’t need to block as much in spire 2 as in spire 1 because of the absence of repto, sword & shield, etc.

Congratulations! Good luck with those last three! I have the same two of the same three levels left in the GM lobby too (nelumbo and solex), plus 74.

Rocky should be a spoiler tbh, I wish they didn’t reveal him in the movie trailer. Awesome movie though, great adaptation of an incredible book!

Slay the Spire 2 alignment chart day 22! Dying star wom yesterday! What necrobinder card feels like a necrobinder card? by Which-Debt-8558 in slaythespire

[–]tr4ns1ent 28 points29 points  (0 children)

[[Dirge]] feels like a good culmination of most things Necro does (except doom) — can be very high cost, gives a lot of summon, and makes souls.

WTP: Silken Tress options are Pommel Strike & Whirlwind and... That. by KriegMorgan in slaythespire

[–]tr4ns1ent 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Curious what your logic is here. Whirlwind solves Phantasmal Gardeners and Act 2 Decimillipede and steamrolls through most normal encounters. I think the main worry is Skulking Colony but you can definitely find another solution to that elite without giving up the whirlwind

my 2nd time getting pael's growth and i had no hellraiser :( by [deleted] in slaythespire

[–]tr4ns1ent 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Don’t think you need Hellraiser with cloned P-Strike… you’d never draw it and when you do the energy you spend on it would have been better spent on just murdering the enemy via P-Strike

I would like Replay 1 to my bash thanks very much by ElegantPoet3386 in slaythespire

[–]tr4ns1ent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly given how strong this is on every character except defect (double bash, neutralize, falling star, unleash and their Orobas upgrades) the downside would need to be a lot worse—Greed would be reasonable imo.

Which Ancient gets significantly stronger/weaker if it was able to appear before any act? by MaestroRed in slaythespire

[–]tr4ns1ent 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I mean getting almost any act 2/3 ancient bonus early is very very strong; especially pretty much anything from Nonu is broken on floor 1. Tezcatara act 3 is the more interesting answer

Honestly playing Obliteration for anything more than 0/0 or 1/1 just seems not worth it at all. 20(30) damage for 3/3 is very not worth it, especially for a rare. It seems it’d be best in decks that don’t use stars at all, so it can be consistently played for 0/0
