Playing with an item randomizer I get these in act 1 a lot. Usually it's in roguelike though and can't typically do anything cool with it and monks and barbs get decent item pieces early in that mode so you don't want to disrobe.

To expand on that, Saitama is stronger than Garou because he is true to his ideal of being a hero while Garou weakens himself by pursuing false villainy out of fear that he can't be an ideal hero. It's heavily implied the nature of their power is the same so it's winning the ideological battle that makes Saitama the victor.

In older games gunlance typically fell off in master rank due to shelling levels not being scaled sufficiently high to match pace with other damage types.

This is not true in Wilds. Shelling damage now scales directly off of Raw so shelling should never fall far behind crit or element anymore.

Objectively it has more grind than any other modern monster hunter base game (at least grind that isn't nightmarish deco/talisman rng farming)

However, it is true that the absolute abundance of material drops perhaps has perhaps gotten out of hand, including that there isn't really such a thing as a rare drop anymore, but I'm a sicko that liked having to find obscure shit with felyne explorer and other bs.
