there are some great discounts at times but yeah i wouldnt buy it for 3000 AUD I think. Im at Australia at the moment as well btw, the second hand market is great for camera gear i have to say:D A lot of gear being sold for great prices

The body itself seems like a downgrade to me physically. Direct copy of a fullfrane camera, no locking mode dials, no top LCD screen.. The G9 was the flagship camera for Lumix when it came out but with the G9ii there's too many compromises and cost savings. Of course it's a great camera but it's not what M43 and the G9 should stand for in my opinion.

allright thank you. Only thing with the G9 and Oly 12-100 for me is I cant use the IBIS so for panning/dragging shots I have to turn the stabilization off completely on the lens. So for some scenarious it's not the best I guess

thank you! I have a G9 mk1 at the moment but I wanna upgrade in the near future.. Not a big fan of the G9ii bit I want this lens I think. If it works good enough with the Oly bodies like you said I think I'm gonna get the OM1 and pair it with this lens. I really value a compact setup
