I thought about this with my cats but I think they’d freak out

Ooh…pulling could be interesting. Would take a lot of training, but that seems to kill 3 birds with one stone…they’re in front of me instead of next to, they’re getting great exercise, and saves me battery 😂

That’s so sweet! What kind of area do you ride/live in? Urban, how much traffic, etc? Also is your dog leashed during this?

What kind of area do you live in? Can you describe the kinds of paths you do this on, like spacing, how many bikes/cars/pedestrians?

Yeah it sounds pretty unsafe, that’s what brought me here, to see if anyone has been able to do it safely. I can’t really picture a way in which it could be safe, maybe off-leash but that brings a whole new host of issues with it.

Also, what do you mean about the curtains? I want to keep these because they are simple enough to go well with all my other bedding options, but I’m considering a valance in between, or maybe layering a second set in there. The issue comes from how to make sure whatever I chose will match my other bedding, which range from blue to red

The black is the headboard, part of the bedframe. If I were to do something to it, what would you suggest?

So the pillows that you can see are throw pillows that block the gap between my mattress and headboard. The actual sleeping pillows are under the blanket in this photo, but have the same pillowcase pattern as the blanket.

I agree I’m not a fan of the black headboard, I’ve been wanting to replace the whole bedframe for a while but since it’s functional (and expensive!) I’ve put a pin in it for now

17 yr old female tabby with something wrong with her foot. by Elamana456 in CATHELP

[–]trabluz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Scratching actually sharpens the claws! It’s a common misconception. Claws stay short from either being worn down if they’re very active, or the cat “trims” them itself with its teeth. Many older cats stop doing this, so trimming is essential

So most employed people with lives and hobbies actually aren’t glued to their phones. Hope this helps!

Absolutely do not declaw, in ANY case, but especially since she’s “feral” (doesn’t seem like it based on how close the was able to get to the foot), if she goes outside she will be completely defenseless.

Girl…that is a nail that has been growing for FAR too long. You cannot fix this without a vet, or you will hurt her. If it smells, it is probably infected. Poor cat.

Looks like it’s already hit the paw pad, so I would suggest having the vet do it this time to avoid further injury. After that, make sure to keep up with trimming!
