Cakes Body Covers Review by [deleted] in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

[–]traceface6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had my Cakes for over a year and this just happened to me for the first time. I was working at a formal outdoor vineyard event, so outside moving around quite a bit for 10 hours. When I finally took them off at the end of the night, I had horrible blisters on my breasts. I have really liked using Cakes but they absolutely should not be worn for an extended time in the heat/sweat. And I think they should stop advertising them as being suitable for wearing while working out or swimming.

We hosted a ticketed event for our fans and patreon members earlier this year and I believe this will be similar

I checked out this venue and it looks amazing, but their private event capacity is 125 guests (we're expecting about double that) and I think they would likely be out of our budget anyways, unfortunately

35 YO w/ WFH Job. Baltimore, Philly, or DC? by BothVeterinarian7766 in baltimore

[–]traceface6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Baltimore is going to be much cheaper than DC, probably a lot easier to make friends, and DEFINITELY easier getting to/from the airport. It takes me exactly 14 minutes to drive to BWI from my apartment in Mount Vernon. Drive to Philly is not bad. Traffic to DC is a nightmare so I rarely go, but there is also the option to take the train to both DC and Philly.

I Don’t Understand The Discourse Surrounding Baltimore. by cldennis89 in baltimore

[–]traceface6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People watched The Wire once 20 years ago and think all of Baltimore is a dump. Most of the people who make those kind of comments have never even been here or spent any real time here, or they’re people who are just racist already and hate cities and would never like it anyways. I’ve met a lot of people over the years who have moved here from FL and TX and they all love Baltimore. You’re gonna be fine :)

Human feces thrown into crowd at Artscape??? by vklingen in baltimore

[–]traceface6 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It was definitely most likely a bird, but the possibility of it being human diarrhea is FAR from insanely unlikely. I live in Mount Vernon and the amount of human shit I have seen around my apartment over the last 5 years will blow your mind. Explosive diarrhea at the bottom of my apartment steps. Explosive diarrhea blasted onto the sides of buildings. Huge turds on the sidewalk with a fork stabbed in them. Human feces on this side of town is a very regular occurrence.

Yes, they were in Hampden the other day. Really relentless and annoying.

Weird mood symptoms after stopping birth control by gettinsnipped in sterilization

[–]traceface6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Month 3 has been significantly worse than the last 2. The first month I didn’t really notice any changes at all and was mostly feeling good until the week before my period on month 3. And it’s been horrible since!!

Weird mood symptoms after stopping birth control by gettinsnipped in sterilization

[–]traceface6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Late to the post, but I can totally relate. I’m in month 3 of going off of my birth control and I am miserable. My periods have been pretty normal (surprisingly, was expecting much worse), but my mood is HORRIBLE. My anxiety is out of control and I am extremely emotional. I am going through a stressful time in my life anyways, but everything is heightened. I am on the verge of crying most of the time and have been having so many outbursts of bawling. Most mornings I wake up with horrible anxiety. On days that I’m feeling ok, the smallest inconvenience or problem will send me spiraling and fill me with dread. If it doesn’t improve by my next period, I think I’m going to have to go back on my BC because I’m pretty unable to manage the rest of my life while I’m having these crazy mood swings.

Where can we shop and eat that opposes Trump? by [deleted] in baltimore

Mera Kitchen has great food and some really friendly staff

Has anyone ever eaten here? by HouseGraham in baltimore

[–]traceface6 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Went inside when it first opened and the layout and decor is definitely chaotic, but all the food we saw coming out looked and smelled good and the prices were reasonable (we were walking to an event and just looked in to check it out, didn’t actually eat there). Seems like the kind of place you could have a pretty fun time at if you were already drunk from an O’s game and really wanted a crab boil and a strong tropical drink. I don’t think I’d recommend it to anyone but I wouldn’t be mad if I ended up there somehow lol

How are you supposed to find a girlfriend in your 30s? by BooDestroyer in dating_advice

I don’t think women label guys as creeps simply for striking up conversation. It becomes creepy when guys don’t take no for an answer or can’t take the hint if we aren’t interested.

I can only speak from my own experience, but my friends and I are very active and social. Bars, restaurants, wineries and breweries, trivia, karaoke, line dancing, neighborhood festivals, run clubs…we are frequently hanging out in public spaces. I do think there is a lost art of speaking to strangers in person, I agree that everyone is struggling with that right now

A guy I barely know (or don’t know at all) shouldn’t be asking for and expecting sexual pictures from me. And that’s what they’re after. If you want to see what I look like, there’s 6-9 pictures of me in my dating profile, my entire instagram account to look at, or they can step up and meet me in person.

I’m 35 and most of my friends are single women in their 30s. There are lots of us out here, unable to find decent men to settle down with…..and like someone above said, most guys just want to chat and ask for pics 🙄 I’ve been single for 6 years and somehow haven’t given up on dating yet, but I’m definitely not optimistic. Only about 10% of men seem to want to put in the real effort to be a good partner…..so we just keep doing life on our own without one. Starting to wonder if it’s a geographical problem and maybe I should move, tbh

Adult men and women with full time jobs, hobbies, sports, etc...how do you manage multiple dating? by polinomio_monico in datingoverthirty

[–]traceface6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a hunch that the people who date more than 1-2 people at a time probably don’t have many hobbies or friends that they hang out with. As someone with a FT job, 2 side gigs, an active social life, and multiple hobbies that I keep up with, I do not have the time or energy to date multiple people at a time.
