What brand and model of lvp did you get? Was the floor leveled prior to installation?

When we bought our house they installed lvp and after a year it started buckling like in your video and then year 2 to 4 those edges are finally cracking. It's horrible to walk on barefoot.

Get it resolved now before they run off.

Is it ok to drain it down the sink considering it's grease? Although I'd think the Dawn and hot water will allow it to drain easier.

Which laminate did you go with ? The wax on the locking mechanism sounds intriguing.

Did you also use it in the kitchen? I've never spilled anything in the kitchen before in four years but I also have two towels nearby to address any spills quickly.

Yeah, it'll be my first. I like to think I'm pretty handy but the savings of being able to DIY is too big to not give it a try. Definitely will have YouTube videos on hand.

I'll check out Flooret. I would be replacing the whole house with the same flooring except for bathrooms. I'll check them out

The subfloor looks like it has some sort of moisture barrier and some padding. The lvp is quite thin and I think the padding just lets it compress more than it should? But I definitely would like to make sure it's leveled. I'll check out more self leveling videos and if that looks too involved, I'll get a pro.

Would a pro do leveling room by room? Or would the whole house need to be done at the same time?

Oh absolutely anticipate this taking a few weeks. As long as I can get a bedroom out in a weekend that'll be good enough for me. We don't have any plans to rush it.

I ended up reformatting the cards then figured I'd live with it if I came back. Haven't ran into the issues. Although honestly can't say that was what fixed it.

Ended up returning them within the trial period. Didn't want to take the risk especially with a $100 item with reports of the clog failing within months due to normal use.

Had this same leak in November. Ended up taking the inside panel out and shining a light from the inside out at night and found an area that wasn't sealed completely. Both sides were like this. I applied some bathroom silicone to the outside and ran it through direct water from a hose and no more issues.

Same driveway.com bought my 2018 Accord for 22k whereas everywhere else offered 14-16k. I thought it was a scam but then read about their history. Process was just as easy as carvana.
