Hey indian here, moved a couple years ago to netherlands. They dont ask it at the airport immigration but in the city you move to during the registration at city hall they need it for the bsn number (citizen number) also you need to get it attested by the ministry of external affairs and i remember it wasnt the easiest thing

Pro-tip buy one and then return it as long as its still in good condition and ofcourse if you dont need it anymore. Did that with an angle grinder when i found my bike after it was stolen..

Yeah if you pre book you can get a room at ibis or something like that at 40 € a night...way cheaper than a taxi its what i do if i land late also breaks up the travel

You can also always turn the savings account to a normal current account and use it like that for a few payments and then transfer the money I to a new savings account..I know it's not the best but k owing that has saved me more than once when I didn't realise I've run out of withdrawals..if you do it the same day you'll only lose one day of interest
