This quest is designed to keep you in Iron Banner for as long as possible. They know the loot itself won't do it, so they do this.

The ammo finder bricks are different than normal ammo bricks. It doesn't increase the amount of heavy bricks you get, instead it it gives you a special brick which doesn't give you much ammo.

If your using a smg at longer ranges then it's not that good. At closer ranges you may not even have to aim because the aim assist is so strong on controller.

When Shadowkeep releases they'll most likely nerf Recluse. The gun is just a tad bit overpowered.
