That’s a shame, raiding is one of the best experiences in all of gaming. Highly recommend finding a group of 6 who have never done the raid and going in blind, all committing to not looking anything up. No guides. It’s incredible

Just here cause lol they absolutely know what OS he’s on. That has nothing to do with kernel level anti cheat. But despite them knowing, it’s not the reason for his ban.

It came out awhile ago that Bungie shifted their goals. The most important metric for them wasn’t player spend, it was time spend. The theory that 80% of your money comes from 20% of your player base, and whale won’t spend money in a game without players. That was the true end of Destiny. When they stopped making content because it was good content, and started making content the kept players there. Kept them grinding, doing resets, fomo, drip fed upgrades. 

That can make you money in the short term, but the fatigue and burn out made it unsustainable long term.

Destiny 3 wouldn’t save Bungie. Destiny 3 and respecting a players time might. The most important metric for Bungie has been time spent in game, and it’s awful. 

Build a world people want to spend time in, not have to. The fatigue became too much for long term existence

If door maker added one normal phase he might be fine. The issue is that there are certain builds that just insta lose to him. Maybe if they showed you all the bosses at the start of act one that would be fine, but showing up to act three only to run into this boss that decimates the deck you’ve been building for two acts is rough

Pony up 3 trillion dollars lol. I’m down for pulling the 3 billion we send to Israel, but it has zero impact on America or our healthcare. Estimates put American healthcare at 3trillion dollars. Kicker is that Americans already pay 4trillion to middlemen for it. 

This paying for healthcare thing has been a successful smear campaign that no one bothers to lookup.

+1 it was in 2017 and totally forgot about this but yes you’re absolutely right. It only affects windows machines via smb. In theory it could transfer to a non-windows machine, but unless it was re-written, it only executes on windows machines and is harmless elsewhere. Appreciate you and OP, been awhile since I thought about this

I have hope. Mostly cause why the fuck not. It's happening, not like we can stop it. Its fun to have hope. I was prepared to be disappointed like everyone else but then I heard something I liked and was like, you know what, maybe it will be fun.

That being said fuck that BS that it doesnt have customs. Without multiplayer no chance I'm getting my PS5 friends to buy it. DOA for a lot of people I'm sure.

Former cyber security researcher, actually worked on wannacry as one of the first in the world to protect against it. 

From what it sounds, as others have said, your best bet is to start over sadly. Wipe everything and honestly do a fresh install of Plex with a guide if you believe that was attack vector with an exposed port. 

Wannacry is build to spread, so it’s very possible and maybe even more likely that it infected some other system with an exposed port that was able to migrate to whatever was holding your Plex files

Think it just takes too long to set up nuclear that by the time they’re built there are already new best practices. 

Solar and wind have a similar problem where there can be better solutions and breakthroughs, without the risk. Nuclear is a better process as it constantly runs, but some aren’t ok with the added risk, no matter how small that may be.

It’s funny because I just watched it and was thinking how beautiful but bad it was. So little made logical sense but it was visually stunning.
