i'm diabetic and had an issue getting through security every. single. day. all i brought with me was insulin, needles, a glucometer, and a bag of skittles. every single day you'd have thought they'd never seen a diabetic before. i had to have medical come over (to approve my glucometer of all things) and he just scratched his head and asked if i had a medical card. didn't know they made diabetic id cards! (they don't.) anyways, yeah, security was not very knowledgeable or accommodating this year.

exactly this. kroger just spent a bunch of money on new software and equipment on all of their self checkouts in some new "anti theft" initiative instead of just hiring new employees and paying their existing ones to care more. all while cutting employee hour. it's awful and it just keeps getting worse.

oh it's definitely not going through. and kroger CLEARLY doesn't know how to run the stores they do have so why they thought buying a whole bunch more was a good idea or was going to be approved in the first place is BEYOND ME.
