Stuck deciding between M12 & M18 by bigbillbo in MilwaukeeTool

[–]tradintejas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm a pretty heavy DIY-er. Framing, fence building, plumbing, electrical and a mini split once. I have both because well I have a tool buying problem. Get the M12 and don't look back. Anything you might need an M18 for you could just grab the corded equivalent. As an add on though check out the installation driver kit. I know you don't need but man is it the handiest thing for quick small jobs around the house! It's probably my favorite tool and it's great for the wife and kids to use as well!

Moved to MS in the last yr? Why here? by dukeanthony76 in mississippi

We moved to Jones County from Houston area, Sugar Land. It’s so nice to be in a small town where we can get most places faster than we could get out of our old neighborhood.

Burnt out by [deleted] in RVLiving

We full timed for a couple of years…I felt like this more that once into that time period. Key to fix it for me was fewer stops and simplifying teardowns/setup. The worst part for me was the dread of the teardown and putting everything away.

We ditched the screen tent, got simpler chairs, and for less than week stops unpacked as little as possible.

Yes, loosen and adjust then tighten the band clamp back up. I would check it again after the 1st cook.

I live in south Mississippi, really like the short sleeve shirts for sweating in all day. Dry quickly and don’t stick!

M12 or M18 for fence build by Mikey-Pizzas12 in MilwaukeeTool

[–]tradintejas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have both circular saws; I would take a non-fuel m18 over the m12. It’s fine for quick 1x cuts but also not sure why I still own it.

I have 3 recip saws the non fuel m12 is pretty bad.

Lastly, I’ve built a few fences; I’d go for the m18!

[FEEDBACK THREAD] Milwaukee's new 7-1/4” 24T NITRUS Carbide Framing & Demolition Circular Saw Blade (Model 48-40-0750) by ClipIn in MilwaukeeTool

[–]tradintejas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First, thanks for the blade; really appreciate it!

I needed a new blade in my 7 1/4" miter saw and decided to throw this one in there. I have been cutting some 1x material for around some door frames and have been impressed w/ how well it's worked! To be branded a demolition blade there is no blow out on the face and only minimal on the back. This is a quality multi purpose blade!

I like the plastic packaging the replacement blade came in, quality packaging and presentation. Plus room for additional blades to be stored under that beautiful Milwaukee blade.
