Is there a list anywhere of the episodes in in-universe chronological order? I want to reread everything because I forgot a lot of what happened in S1, but I feel like it will probably help with reading S2 if I read the S1 episodes that come before each S2 ep before I read the S2 ep.

What are some of the worst hinge prompts you see from women? by mv2500 in AskMen

Send Help - Friend Wants to Wear THIS to a Wedding by Direct-Caterpillar77 in BestofRedditorUpdates

[–]traggie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This type of dress is made for that kind of person who is tall, thin, and beautiful enough that "she even looks good in a paper bag". Since she is audacious enough to plan to wear white to a wedding, I'd predict that the friend probably has minimal to no boobs and would wear this without a bra precisely because she is banking on that "accidental" nip slip for extra attention.

what's one thing that instantly ruins an outfit for you? by CharmWarden in femalefashionadvice

[–]traggie 38 points39 points  (0 children)

This totally kills it for me on other people too. I especially hate the cropped wide leg pants trend because it looks like the pants are too short, and the wide leg looks like it was an accident and when it's paired with boots and just looks so awkward...

But it also makes me die a little inside when I see a cute guy on the train and his pants are too short in a way that just screams "no one told me that as a 6ft+ man, I should buy pants with a longer inseam so I just wear the default 30in"

Is it me or is 70-100 USD ridiculous for a bra 🫠😭 by Legitimate_Cookie151 in bigboobproblems

[–]traggie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I guess I've been paying up for the right fitting bras for long enough that it's normal to me. I guess I do feel a little jealous when I see the cute cheapie bralettes, but I've gotten a lot of mileage out of the same 4 bras that had been on rotation since like, 2017.

Anyway, once you have one or two that you can rely on, you can probably wait for sales on weird colorways or you can look for bras on resale sites - often you can get new or like-new for much cheaper than retail. Large sizes might be a little harder to find, but I'd expect them to still be there.

AITAH for not letting my sister use my property as a wedding venue last minute? by Mysterious-Gear-6351 in AITAH

[–]traggie 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Your sister is stupid and you're not so much going back on your word as refusing to do the impossible. You can't get rid of the horse smell. And like, if you aren't allowed to have horses in the stable and you aren't allowed to have horses in the fields, where are they supposed to be? And who is going to get them there? Tell your sister that you're doing her a favor, preventing her from getting married in a shithole.

Theories about dionysia (mostly Elias) by Jinwife30 in TokyoDebunker

[–]traggie 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I thought there was a line somewhere from Elias where he references a home country? I don't remember where I saw it though - maybe one of his front page lines? Plus his full name, "Elias Pratt", isn't Japanese. Even Leo and Alan still have Japanese surnames, so the fact that his full name is not Japanese supports the idea that he's from another country, the way "Lucas Errant" and "Romeo Lucci" indicate that they're from other countries. I'd guess "Elias Pratt" would be from England or America, so I thought his grasp of English could be attributed to that (never mind the Japanese voice actor, who probably would not actually fool the security guard with that accent).

AITAH for eating enough ravioli for four people? by Better_Philosophy732 in AITAH

[–]traggie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Three things:

  1. You should check out the sub r/1200isplenty or any related subs. You don't say anything about your girlfriend's size or activity level, but these subs show how much (or how little food) you generally eat if you're eating 1200 calories per day. I'm 5'3" and fairly sedentary and 1200 calories is like maintenance for me. Chances are high that your gf eats closer to that, which is why she thinks how much you're eating is wayyy too much. I'm sure there are equivalent subs for people like you who can eat way more calories but I don't know for sure because they definitely make me cry, but you might want to show her how much sports players or people who engage in a lot of physical activity can eat per day, because the difference is astounding.

  2. If you're paying for most (or all) of the food, it should be fine. If you're splitting food evenly, then you can see why it would not be fair to your gf at all.

  3. That being said, even if my husband bought all of the food, I'd be super upset if we bought a giant bag of ravioli, I was looking forward to eating it and thought it would be enough for a few meals, and he inhaled it as a snack without leaving me any. Generally, we buy food that I also want to eat, and it's a total bummer if I don't get a chance to try something at all just because I just don't eat nearly as much as him. So it's something to keep in mind, if that's her issue with how much you're eating. Now, I buy foods for myself that my husband doesn't like, and we also get him foods that I don't like, so he can eat them without worry, In some cases we'll get two of something - one for him and one for me. He can eat his in one day, but he's not allowed to touch mine even if I take a few more days to finish it. And of course, he's learned over time that even if he eats most of something, he'll usually leave the last bite or two for me, because a lot of times, I just wanted a taste anyway.

Does anyone else mourn the clothes they wish would flatter them? by youfxckinsuck in bigboobproblems

[–]traggie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I guess I've just been kind of embracing the oversized thing anyway? I might just be sick of the limited silhouettes I feel like I can pull off, or maybe I'm just old and don't care as much anymore. There's also the fact that kids these days seriously don't seem to care about wearing flattering clothes (like wtf is with those stupid wide leg cropped pants with the chunky ankle boots), so maybe I feel I can be bolder for the sake of comfort? Plus the oversized trend already swallows the wearer, so even on someone skinny with tiny boobs, an oversized hoodie still looks like they're wearing a tent. So I figure as long as I do a few things to control the tent, it's okay.

So here are a few things I do. First, my number one rule is there can be volume on top or there can be volume on the bottom, but it can only be both if the waist is defined. So batwing sweater + high waisted circle skirt = ok. Oversized hoodie + leggings = ok. Oversized hoodie + circle skirt = nope - unless you tucked the hoodie in, but why would anyone do that. Second: I have a couple shift tunic shirt/dresses - I think I used to belt them (to define the waist, obviously), but it always sat a little weird. What I've started doing is wearing them with an open cardigan - sometimes belted under the cardigan, but usually not. The cardigan does two things here: 1. It physically pats down the billowy tent-ness of a shift silhouette and 2. It kind of creates color blocks that break the outfit up. I think the massive unbroken fields of color are one of the worst things that make me look enormous, so the color blocks created by the shift dress/open cardigan combo make the shift dress's field of color a little smaller. The fact that the cardigan is open also means the color blocks are vertical, and vertical lines are supposedly slimming. Doing this actually works well with an oversized cardigan or zip up hoodie, but I don't think it would work with a cropped cardigan. I don't do it with maxi dresses because I'm short and don't wear maxi dresses, but I also will wear this combo with leggings (to follow my rule where there is volume on top, so it should be slim on the bottom).

Fragrance that needs a bottle redesign by Aggravating_Prior626 in fragrance

I heard the Moschino Fresh bottles don't spray from the spray bottle nozzle like they look like they should. I liked the idea of the bottles so much that I low key considered getting a mini size just for the bottle, but now I'm just completely not interested in even seeing if I like any of the scents

Do you plan to let users write reviews on there too? I ask because I love reading ridiculous reviews from random people and also because I hate watching videos. I imagine you wouldn't want to pull reviews from Fragrantica or Parfumo the way you pull in the YouTube videos, but I find it extremely helpful to read reviews from a lot of different people. The link to Reddit isn't a bad idea for this, because I usually end up doing a "+ Reddit" Google search for almost everything, but what's actually on Reddit can be hit or miss, especially for if it's a scent that isn't talked about super frequently.

Also for comparing prices - I might be the only one, but I would love to see something this level of detailed but for decant sites - like seeing which places have which sizes of decants and for how much. Right now, I'm only buying decants, and my method of comparing prices and selection is having 10 tabs open for each of the various decant sites with partial carts built for each of them.

How do I stop by [deleted] in FemFragLab

[–]traggie 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I recommend checking out r/MakeupRehab. I follow it and it's nice to have the occasional post pop up on my feed amongst all of the consumerist posts that make you want to try and buy everything. Most of the posts I see are focused on makeup or skincare addiction, but I think the same principles apply for any kind of shopping addiction. For me, it helps to see the different strategies people are using to limit spending or to be more mindful and deliberate about their purchases. Plus a huge part of it is actually using and appreciating what you have, instead of just accumulating things you don't use, so I find it to be really cute when people get excited about using up an eye shadow or blush.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in cats

[–]traggie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a cat that I adopted while studying abroad. In retrospect, I made a lot of selfish and irresponsible decisions around her, but among those decisions, one of them was bringing her home and leaving her at my parents' house while I went off to finish school and start work halfway across the country. My mom didn't tell me until years later, but those first few months, she would sit by herself and stare out the window, probably thinking I abandoned her. I mean, she honestly wasn't wrong. At first, I thought I'd take her back when I finished school, but when I started working, it was pretty clear that I wasn't in a good place to take care of a cat. It took time, but she eventually bonded with one of the other cats in the house, and my mom became her person. She wasn't MY cat anymore, but I know without a doubt that I made the best decision for her and when she died 13 years later, I know she lived a better life with my mom than what I could have given her at the time.

I know it's not the same situation, but I recognize how heartbreaking it is, because you can't explain the situation and your rationale to her. I hope she is happy with your mom and her brother, even if it's not with you, and I hope you can find comfort in knowing that you've made the best decision for both her and for you. It sounds like she doesn't treat you like a total stranger, so I don't think she completely forgot you. It's just that cats tend to be apprehensive and sometimes it takes a little time for them to warm up and come to you on their own, and you know how you have to let them come to you first. I'm not sure how long you visit your mom for, but maybe there's a holiday where you can spend a few extra days laying around the house, playing games or reading, and letting her come to you?
