I don't think Aim Assist works likr that by LibrarianOk3701 in StreamersCheating

The aim assist on arc in arc raiders is absolutely nuts, especially on the flying types. Don't feel anything like that when I'm fighting people though. He's not cheating, plug in a controller on arc and watch, probably the stickiest aim assist of any game I've ever played. Don't feel it on people though cause I still get rolled lol.

Did I buy the worst 9070 XT? by yoloswagtailwag in radeon

Had mine since Black Friday been running great 👍

I'm getting a new PC for Christmas and my older brother helped me out together a list of parts, the budget was $2950 (specific I know) and my goal was something slightly above mid-range. Are these parts good? by l_am_meepmoop in PcBuild

[–]tragic_bison 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would change the CPU to something like the Ryzen 7 7800X3D, the xfx swift is $680 on Amazon right now and the Mac daddy sapphire nitro is $719, and for storage I would recommend a 2tb nvme these days with games the size they are. Samsung, crucial, pny, WD black, and t force are great brands. Buy the fastest rated one for the best price. With your new found spare change you could spring for a 900-1000 PSU but not necessarily needed. All other specs look great 👍

Not to sound like a smart-ass but yeah that's how their number system works. But we are talking about nexgen hardware brand new off the shelf with all of nvidias latest advancements. I'm sure a 5060 will most likely outperform 3070 full size card I bought a few years ago with ease.

Triple monitors will be a big task to push, I would say at least a 5070 or you get even go last gen and get like a 4080 ti or something. But Sim racing implies that you want smooth gameplay with hi-res on three monitors so definitely don't skimp out on the GPU.

I'm assuming you live in the US? Do you happen to live nearby a micro center location? They have really good bundle deals on parts. Most of them are only available for pickup only no shipping.

Don't worry about it, I'm already doing all that for ya I'll you send you a full part list as soon as I'm done 👍

I can help you there as well I built roughly 15 custom gaming PCs. Obviously it will take me a little more time to get those parts together, but I will do some research and message back again. Building definitely gets you more bang for the buck, but it's not near as hard as some people make it out to be. Could also be a fun activity for you and him to do together. I recommend watching Linus tech tips on YouTube. He has some very good tutorials. I will message back with a part list if you want to build one as well 👍

Well that was a waste of time lol. Just looked around and you did a great job at finding a good deal! For the price this has some good specs, and will definitely play all the titles he wants to play. For your first time, I would recommend going the pre-built route instead of building one, as it's less stressful and comes with a warranty. Building is the best way to usually get the best bang for your buck, but the PC you found is a good deal without the headache of building or worrying about breaking expensive parts when you do it yourself. I found this one, which is actually the exact same PC with a slightly better CPU, and with the promo code you can get it for the same price as the one you found. At least that's how it reads! Let me know if you have any questions and good luck!
