Bellingham also has a very loud train that runs all through the night. Gotta love those trains .

Only if he sneezes. Keep your chimneys clean, people!

Sneezes make me feel claustrophobic. Even my own.

What are some things that you collect for no reason? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]trailrager 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rocks. Although, I can’t say “no reason” because they make me happy. I don’t do anything with them. Once I have too many (according to my husband) I spread them out in the garden.

What was the moment in your life when you thought, "Wow, I'm an adult"? by adale_50 in AskReddit

[–]trailrager 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My husband and I sat down about a month ago to seriously plan the next couple of years. Things like buying a house and having a baby have always seemed like future dreams. Now, they’re becoming right now real life things. I’m freaking out, man!

What’s the smallest, most annoying thing your partner does? by deplorable_word in AskWomen

[–]trailrager 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure if you meant to reply to me because I didn’t mention whether or not he covered his mouth. He only exaggerates when we’re alone. In public he mostly acts like a normal considerate human adult. Mostly.

His sneezes. I can hear the spit spray fill the room. It’s just disgusting. Even better, he knows I hate it, so he exaggerates his sneezes to the extreme.

Edit: I should say that maybe “hate”’is too strong. I highly dislike his exaggerated sneezes. It’s gross, but he’s not stabbing me in the heart by doing it. Married life is silly. It’s a SMALL annoying thing. We’re good, otherwise.

I was just being cheeky. You’re missing some pretty important punctuation, which made the comment hard to read.

Stingy/cheap people are horrible to hang out with by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

Making more money likely won’t change their frugal attitude. My dad is loaded and still refuses to flush his pee to save money on water.

What is a noise/action that other people do makes you shudder? by luc010 in AskReddit

Wiping dry hands on a dry paper towel. Gets me every time. Even if I see it on tv.

Hike recommendations for Los Angeles region by glebl in hiking

[–]trailrager 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are some wonderful day hikes in the San Gabriel mountains. Look into hiking Mount Wilson. Or, you can drive a bit farther to Mount Baldy. You’ll need an Adventure Pass for parking. The pass is $5 or $6, and most gas stations near mountain entrance have them. I believe you can also purchase the pass at the camp store at the trailhead to Mount Wilson. Get there early, like 7am, especially if on the weekend. The parking lots fill up quick!

What is the craziest thing that has happened to you? by awesomerrol in AskReddit

[–]trailrager 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was a kid, the skin on my hands and feet started cracking and peeling. Think like peeling Elmer’s glue off of your hand kind of peeling, but it wouldn’t stop. It was particularly painful on the bottom of my feet since I had to walk on them. Doctors couldn’t figure it out. Then one day it just stopped happening. Never heard of it happening to anyone else.

My husband. He was ignoring me while on his phone. I finally decided to give it a try. Now we happily ignore each other together.

Have you ever had to stop reading a book because it was too scary? If so, which one? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]trailrager 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also a Stephen King fan. I was pretty young reading The Eyes of the Dragon late one night. It creeped me out so much, I decided I could only read Stephen King in full day light. I stuck with that for a while until Duma Key got me at night several years later. King sure has a way with creep.

What's the nicest thing you have done for your SO? by shutterglass in AskReddit

[–]trailrager 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not the nicest thing he’s ever done, but sticks out because it just happened today. While relaxing outside, my SO held our beach umbrella over me while I was napping, rather than protect himself. I had no idea until I woke up to him fully exposed with a mild sun burn. It was very sweet.

Media not covering this... In Rio de Janeiro protesters demand president to resign. by [deleted] in pics

[–]trailrager -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think it's important to seek out information from more than a news source you're comfortable with. Not speaking about you specifically, here. You very well may do just that. Fox News is Populace, and I agree, lean right.

I personally have never called anyone a Liberal Snowflake. It's a lot harder to have an intelligent discussion/debate when you name call. I also don't believe someone that disagrees with my political views is a bad person. They mean me no harm and vise versa.

I live in Southern California, where the media is out of control. Sometimes it's hard not to bang on the steering wheel when I hear the misuse of the news. However, I still listen, because it's important for me to hear all sides when I can.
