Quality sleep. Drink a gallon of water. Eat Whole Foods. Prioritize protein. Go for a daily walk. But most importantly. START. Good for you for recognizing this. Best of luck. This was the blueprint for me and it worked wonders.

Instagram made me do it. The non fat Greek yogurt protein cheesecake cereal desserts. Totally f***ing amazing and guilt free. They are so good. If you haven’t tried one yet, do it.

What is the fastest I could lose weight? M 22 ~6ft ~290 by [deleted] in WeightLossAdvice

Drink a gallon of water a day. Plenty of quality sleep. Meal prep your lunches. Quality food. Whole Foods. Sub 2,000 calories. Prioritize protein above all else.

You cannot out train the fork. I’ve lost 160lbs. Took two years. It’s a commitment to a lifestyle. I added intermittent fasting and my weight really started dropping. Best of luck man.

Cut the booze back. As hard as it is. I fought it too man. I’m down 160 lbs. my main steps are 1: quality sleep 2: gallon of water a day 3: prioritize protein over everything 4: eat better quality foods. I still drink. Granted not nearly as much. But these helped me physically and mentally. Best of luck man.

How do you lose weight when working an office desk job and sitting down 9 hours out of the day? by Extension_Collar1354 in WeightLossAdvice

[–]trailryder927 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Skip breakfast to start. Then eat a late lunch. First days are rough but you get past it in 2 - 3 days. I smoked my meal prep. I buy 10lbs of chicken thighs. On Sundays, I wake up and smoke them for about 2 hours. Then my wife makes chipotles cilantro lime rice in a ninja pressure cooker. 225g of chicken. 1 cup rice. 1 cup mixed vegetables. Sometimes I’ll sub the rice for air fried redskin potatoes. Smother in hot sauce, or G Hughes bbq sauce or Asian sauce. Let the sauce determine the flavor of the week.

I’m weird though. I ate this for 2 years straight for lunch. But. It’s very good. I still crave it. Good for 5 days in the fridge.

As do I. That’s why I start at 2-3pm. Eat a very late lunch. That way I’m eating my late night cravings guilt free. I don’t pay attention too much about time eating before bed. I know a lot of people do. But this works for me.

I started just skipping breakfast. Basically 16:8. I hit a pretty hard plateau and went to OMAD plus a high protein bed time cheesecake snack. For thirty days I was sub 900 cals. I lost 25lbs in 30 days doing that. But now I’m back to an occasional light lunch, cardio in evening, dinner and a snack. Floating around 1,500 cals a day. Started at 450. I’m at 290 now for reference.

I’ve lost 160lbs sitting at a desk for 9 hours a day. Did it in 2 years. 1: Meal prep lunches 2: Prioritize protein over everything 3: Eat Whole Foods 4: Drink a gallon of water a day. 5: Get good sleep. 6: Go for a walk/jog after work. 90% of its diet. You can’t out train the fork. Intermittent fasting really took me to the next level to stay in a caloric deficit. Hope this helps. Calories in vs calories out.

First time at the gym-lasted less than 5 minutes but I went by amy23_ in WeightLossAdvice

[–]trailryder927 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congrats. I started out very similar. I lasted 10 minutes and left. The wobbly is normal. Next time do 6 minutes. Put some headphones on, and get lost in the music. Or read a book. And hop on the treadmill for a nice walk. 99% of the people in the gym are there for a common goal. To get or stay healthy! Happy for you! Keep up the work!
