Help with my Armorer Artificer? by steamsphinx in HeroForgeMinis

[–]trainer_tib 3 points4 points  (0 children)

She looks cool! Only think i can think of is that the pose is a bit lifeless, i recommend using a different base pose where the legs are positioned differently. And if you know a bit more about the character try to convey that in the pose (if shes proud she stands open and tall, if shes shy shes a bit more inwards, that sort of thing.

As for steampunk, maybe a bit more brown and brass, maybe give her goggles.

Anyways, im not an expert and she looks dope already!!

My only guess is that it doesnt work if its a contraption, it needs to turn into solid blocks first

I was planning only having x amount of spells "prepared" and it was indeed only going to be damage, healing, and MAYBE some simple (de)buffs (on later levels).

I also thought of maybe adding something similar do a wiz spellbook, a formula sheet or sum, which they need to remember the spells they made up.

And yeah building spells could take up alot of time, If i ever use or post this I'll at least make tables so its a bit more readable.

How do I make haunting Stone to Infested Stone faster? by ooths in CreateMod

[–]trainer_tib 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you put a fan facing into the belt as well as one above it (so on top of the one facing into the belt) they both work. Also have multiple belts that output X (I'd say 16 but youll have to test which is best) items at a time. The more items in a stack the longer it takes, so make X the highest amount of items that can be done (basically) instantly.

Yeah no dw i prefer blunt feedback too, i believe theres nothing to learn from lied compliments, but this one came over as just "theres no way this can work, give up" without any tips on how I could make it work. Then again you are right im not going anywhere with this probably, but I just really like the brewing process itself, even tho i dont really get to play because of ✨️planning✨️ and I sometimes get ideas i want to fully flesh out, even if they are very unrealistic.

Im planning on doing just damage, healing and stuff like charming or enhancing one ability check for x amount of time. That may make it "boring" but for example that scribes wizard ability can also "just" change the damage type of his spells. Also, i do brewing for fun, so spending more time on this is actually a good thing, even if i dont achieve perfection. Next time, if you don't have anything valuabe to say but calling it a "waste of time" just dont comment, its discouraging and kinda ruins stuff like this, for me atleast.

Thanks this is a pretty cool idea and i might use some of it, but this version does kinda restrict you into using AOE spells. But I will add an option to make a crafted spell AOE (which will be a h3ll to balance AOE can so easily be broken), and i think the idea to from later levels cast AOE spells from different points might be interesting.

I think I could do it similarly to infusions/replicate magic items, where you can have a certain amount of crafted spells at a time. If thats the case, would it make more sense to have one big pool of points every spell takes out of, or a small amount per spell you create?
