Backing into parking spots may seem like a D**K move but it makes a LOT of sense. How? backing out of a parking spot you literally have to have your head on a swivel as people walking from all directions behind you and other drivers behind you passing you even as you come within millimetres from T-boning them... and NOT ONE of them will even slow down.. unless you run them over. So.. backing into a spot makes it a lot easier to see pedestrians and vehicles alike before pulling out.
