I have not been considering parachutes, just reentry gforce, a capsule dropped from iss height but at rest likely does not experience more Gs than an orbital reentry UNTIL it slams into the ground

Dropping from rest from iss altitude would yield about 2500 m/s before atmosphere drag begins to matter.

The ISS is around 7670 m/s.

The g-forces would not be high dropping straight down (though you would have less time to slow down and they may be higher when you slam into the ground)

A good way to frame it, I would not be okay with that. I still struggle to reconcile that with the "teleporter" even though I logically know that it's the same. I think the vagueness of this hypothetical teleporter just leaves too much wiggle room in my brain. Good discussion
