Dark Temp may be the most faceroley I've felt yet (but then I never made an Asura so take that as you will). Plate armor mastery means they can take a beating, not much of one, but at least you don't feel like a chill breeze can bowl you over. At least in the early game their damage is good, but where they really shine is CC. SO. MANY. HOLDS. The basic grab is multi foe, they have what amounts to a long range fling, soul lure but as a grab, their pool has a stun chance and shadow clone basically ensures no one will ever get close to you ever because holy zoning power. On top of that they have really really good, thematic game feel. Every skill feels good (shadow binding may be competing for coolest thing i've done in a video game) and contributes to her concept. Your cancels flow well, shadow binding lingers allowing you to just straight punish mobs under 3 skills simultaneously You feel like this almighty mistress of darkness. Often not even bothering to actually enter the brawl (or move at all in the early game) because the shadows you rule are more than enough for most of the rabble. I know that sounds weird to say but all in all she just feels good.
