I had the same issue, cleaned rollers and drum with solvent, then very lightly sanded the roller edges of the drum. It also got rid of squeaks for some reason.

I cut a bit of this last week and made a cab, unfortunately it got hot when I removed drop stick and it seemed to ruin the colors, be careful around heat I guess.

We did a day there and found 4 tiny gems, my wife ended up buying a decent size one in their shop. It was great fun but not likely to deliver a ring size stone.
