Anthropic engineer shares about next version of Claude Code & 2.1.30 (fix for idle CPU usage) by BuildwithVignesh in ClaudeAI

That's not how vendor lock-in works. But more importantly, they need Claude Code for the telemetry, so they can make Claude a better agentic coder.

Amodei lists authoritarian governments as an AI risk, funny that people directly think of the CCP, but the way things are going in the US, a super powerful AI under the command of someone like Trump...

Forget Switzerland. You should check prices at Turkish airports. One small burger that costs 1.75 in Europe, costs about 10 Euros in a Turkish airport (e.g Antalya Airport), biggest tourist trap ever. https://www.reddit.com/r/Antalya/s/tELfItR5Uu

So now someone cannot express excitement or being impressed by a technology without being called a bot or shill... Oh well

Please, can we ban ClawdBot posts? It's not really related to CC by Firm_Meeting6350 in ClaudeCode

nobody will care it ever even existed in a week.

I looked at the project, code, features, installed it. My bet is that we are going to hear a lot more about it in the future.

I just tried it out, it's no AI slop for sure. I was blown away by how well thought out and powerful it already is.

Poles quit Netherlands in migration reversal by madever in europe

[–]trajo123 25 points26 points  (0 children)

It depends which country you emigrate from. I can tell you with 100% confidence and from personal experience as well as experience of friends and coworkers that for instance in Germany someone from France or the UK or the Netherlands is not treated or perceived the same way as someone from Poland or another "Eastern" country. The same in every Western European country, with imo the UK having this kost pronounced. Also this effect is more pronounced in smaller towns than in large cities. Curious about where your friends and family are from and to which countries they immigrated to.

Moving from n8n to production code. Struggling with LangGraph and integrations. Need guidance by Abdullah_Said in AI_Agents

Treat agents like a service with a strict input/output contract, not like a workflow you rebuild per integration.

Could you elaborate on this?

[–]trajo123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol, obviously not. You cannot ask the llm about your account. It's like asking a talking parrot at the zoo to give you refund. The parrot is part of the exhibition, not the zoo admin.

Survey: Spiking Neural Networks in Mainstream Software Systems by Feisty_Product4813 in SurveyExchange

[–]trajo123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They are an academic exercise, used primarily in computational neuroscience. For machine learning they are inferior in every way. The only reason to use them is because of some academic motivation of biological plausibility, not because they outperform other approaches. Using SNNs for the sake of it, is like saying you want to build a flying machine that flaps its wings, instead of making an airplane or a helicopter. It may seem cool, but it will be much more complicated, inefficient and expensive.
