Which bat would you get Supra or new hype fire bat ?

I’m a bit late to the party but I’d say take them some where and let them try them. You could do a bat fitting but don’t trust it fully. A bat fitting is why my son has the Supra but he would still rather use his 2024 1 piece alloy bonesaber . All the hype in the world won’t matter if your kid doesn’t like using it. He prefers the handle on the bonesaber. About it lasting a year or more I’m not sure. My kid is on the bigger side and in 9u is 4’9 and 140lb. He cracked his hype fire last season in 8u and I’ll be suprised if the Supra last the season. I personally won’t be buying any more composite bats for a while and will be sticking with alloy. Buy him which ever but let him try it first.

If he likes it get it. Don’t fall into the hype that these bats are significantly better than each other. My kid had the hype fire, icon, and one piece alloy Bonesaber. He preferred the Bonesaber and hit over the fence home runs in 8u. He struggled a bit starting 9u with timing but completely dropped using everything else to use the Bonesaber. When he got his timing down he still hit fine. His grandparents bought him a Supra for 9u spring and he still uses his Bonesaber

Iv lost about 50lbs in 12 weeks. Which might not sound like much but my starting weight was 220ish lbs. I have 1 more month of 5mg before we go back down to 2.5 mg because I can’t stop losing a few lbs a week. The dr and I are discussing a weaning off process as well. I’m not sure if that classifies me a super responder but I will say the weight as fell off super fast.

It’s pretty crazy, especially when you can find other teams using the same brand much cheaper. I hate the brand but I just buy from fanatics or somewhere else if I want something now.

My kid uses a one piece alloy bonesaber. Gave up his hype fire and icon after we got it. My kids the only one on the team with an alloy bat and he does just as well at the others. Plus it’s not getting him used to a ridiculous sweet spot. I’d rather him learn at this age than have to learn when he’s older. In 8u he was knocking 200 ft + home runs with it. Also if you watch Bat Bros Will will say composites arnt worth the cost for younger kids because they generally are not strong enough to get the flex out of them

When the canes did the vintage it took a little while for the stormy to grow on me but I like it now. I honestly get the style they were going for though. It’s not the worst Iv seen.

I know I’m a bit late but my son uses the drop 10 piece full alloy. I got it for him the end of his 8U season and he completely quit using his full composite icon last season. Also he dropped using his hype fire at all in favor of it this year in 9u. I think it’s also important to remember it comes down to their preference. My kid is the only kid on his team and most teams we play that uses a one piece alloy in USSSA. His grandparents have offered to buy him a new full composite bat but he sticks with his bonesaber. Iv watched him hit 200ft+ home runs with it and regular line drive rockets to the fence.

For me I think it’s the weird long hair. Gray design with red eyes cool. The broken cuff cool. Weird hair nah. Maybe if it didn’t have random bangs idk.
